greatly decreased vision in one eye. quick and accurate diagnosis.

I saw Dr. Lucius for spontaneous vision loss. He was prompt, skilled, thorough exam and accurate diagnosis. He immediately referred me to a retina specialist and I was treated expediently. I received a new prescription and glasses to accommodate the changes in my vision while my eyes heal.

Dr. Lucius is a very good Dr. and performed wonderful surgery for my spouse. We had to wait one week as there was a power problem the week my wife was to have surgery. We came back on 11-18-19 for the 2nd surgery on her other eye. My wife was well pleased with Dr. Lucius talents and skills. I on the other hand was not happy with his "chair side" manners. My wife kept explaining what she was seeing and he responded with a sharp comment that he just looked at her eye and I did not see anything. You can see what I can see. My wife said you don't need to be nasty and then Dr. Lucius said that she was nasty to his staff. When she asked what it was she did he just excused himself and left with no answer. My wife then asked the nurse if she owes the staff an apology and she said, it's okay, everything is fine. And with that we left. I had heard nothing but good things about Dr. Lucius but I am praying that my wife will not have need of his service again. I gave a 4 star rating because of his great staff. If I rated him, it would be 1 star only based on this last event.

I had a laser peripheral Iridotomy by Dr. Lucius in December 2017. It was the most painful procedure I ever had. I complained of pain but was ignored! I had tears running down both my cheeks and was still ignored. I believe Dr. Lucius either didn't know what he was doing or just didn't care. He was an hour behind schedule so was in a hurry! I would never recommend any glaucoma patient to Dr. Lucius.

Dr. Lucius did my cataract b surger. Turned out great. I also have age related macular degeneration. I want to know if private with lutein and antioxidants are as good as icaps.

I was diagnosed with Diffuse scleroderma, I went to drr. Lucius to find out if my eyes were affected. I noticed 2 days before my prescrition had changed from near sighted to far sighted. I orginaly that it was a medication i started. He said my eyes were fine, that was good but when I went to ask him questions about why my eyes changed so rapidly, basically over night. He snapped and said I was trying to tell him his diagnoses was wrong and he would not argue with me, you can go see any other dr. he will find the same. I never said he did anything wrong but6 I just got a death sentence and I need answers, that is his job to inform me if i have questions. He was very angry and pointing his finger in my face and his face was extremely angry. he didn't even try to listen I think that is why he heard me wrong. Noone should ever be treated this way by their doctor. He was unproffesional and I was scared and in shock,I hope he has not done this to anyone else. Now I have to find a new doctor

I personally didn't care for him and I don't know why so others might think he is just fine.
