I had a nose surgery done and he was very kind, gentle, patient and informative. Dr. Magnuson was highly recommended by a good friend and I also would highly recommend this awesome doctor.

I saw Dr Magnuson when I was younger and he had performed a few sinus surgeries on me when I was little. As I grew older, I continued to have sinus issues and he gave up and referred me to someone in the cities. Flash forward 10 years, I started having sinus trouble again and gave Dr Magnuson a second chance. During my appointment he pointed out a deviated septum and blockage and threw (another) nose spray my way. When I told him the nose spray didn’t help weeks later, suddenly everything he found during our appointment didn’t matter and there was nothing more he could do other than send me a referral to physical therapy for TMJ. I in fact do not have TMJ and when I went to the dentist weeks later, she actually laughed at this false diagnosis. Needless to say I went to a different ENT in the cities and he’s actually doing something to help as surgery is scheduled.

Dr. Magnuson was known as the area expert especially with children, but unfortunately it seems as with other medical facilities in the area, this doctor has been sucked into the Centracare business model and simply does not have the time to help patients with more involved diagnosis/treatment. Wrong diagnosis! Does not care!

Stay away, save yourself time, money and pain. May have been a good doctor at some point in time, but no longer the case. Wrong diagnosis! Tried to give a diagnosis of TMJ, 2 dentists confirmed this is wrong! U of M doctor properly diagnosed and surgery is forthcoming to fix the real issue!

I've been to many doctors for my bad sinuses, this is the only doctor who actually took a thorough look into my nose and throat and gave me correct treatment. He is wonderful!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Magnuson for over 20yrs and although I have seen other physicians at this clinic I trust his expertise for ENT implicitly. He has a terrific bedside manner, is very Careful in his explanations so everyone understands, has decades of experience so he’s seen it all and gets to the root issue very quickly. With a solid plan in mind, with great outcomes. For me and my family.
