Ellie Mental Health's Online Review Report Card

The only reason I still come to this clinic is because I really like my psychiatrist. But at the end of the day, they are still a mega corporation. I've been incorrectly billed many times and trying to get that remedied is extremely difficult. They never take responsibility, either. It's always that my insurance is the one billing it a certain way, even though it has never happened at other offices and that they are the ones responsible for submitting the info to the insurance company.

I've seen one therapist consistently off and on for years and also had a therapist that specializes in EMDR, very great experiences.

Started seeing a therapist through work. A non profit offered to cover my sessions due to my type of work and covered some but something happened between them and Ellie Mental Health that could not be shared. I was told that I would not be stuck with the bill for sessions that had been sent to this organization to pay. Here I am a year and a half later and they just charged me over $900 for those sessions. Tried calling to speak with someone in “billing,” no answer. Not even an option to leave a voicemail. Call rings 3 times and goes silent. Now there isn’t even an automated option to be directed to anything billing related. Called the general number and asked to speak with someone who would be considered a manager/supervisor after multiple attempts over 2 weeks to speak with billing. I was told by “Joyce” that they don’t have anyone like that and she offered to send me billing. The phone then played elevator music for about 10 min and hung up on me. Clearly their name is fitting as they cause added stress and anxiety by their terrible business practices. Stay far away from this place.

Working with Christina has made a big difference in my life. She is an excellent listener, asks pertinent questions to get me to think and open up, and has great advice on moving forward.

I was referred by a friend that had their child go here. It has not at all been a good experience. My son's therapist is constantly late to get him from waiting room. We've waited up to 20 min+ and still I get charged a full hour. I messaged the lead therapist and never got a response or call back. Just recently I have been charged for multiple visit that my child never even attended. Because of reasons the therapist couldn't make it. Many times have we gone for scheduledappointments, and they talk to my child for 10 min and send him home. I would not recommend this location. I have left a message to see why I was charged and have yet to hear a response 3 days later. Not happy at all with the service provided.

This is the most Mickey Mouse outfit - clearly geared for maximum profit and not to help anybody. I should have trusted my gut with the terrible corporate website - own an Ellie franchise? Not a single therapist at this clinic has credentials higher than an MA, and in fact the person we saw was a trainee. Then she stuck us with an $85 late cancel fee. Avoid at all costs.

Don't do it

First. It doesn't cover much through insurance, or at least my insurance. Second I have been trying to reach out to the medication management but they never answer my calls or take days to respond. And finally my psychiatrist literally told me "I've run out of ideas to help you" are you kidding me?

My daughter was supposed to have her first appointment, which took weeks to schedule to begin with. Two hours before the appointment, we received an abrupt message stating that her therapist, Angela, was leaving the company. No explanation, nothing. My daughter desperately needs to see someone and we waited for weeks. When I called to reschedule, I was asked "Angela who?" by the person who answered. Then they looked up our information and put us on hold for 20 minutes before I finally hung up. I have since seen terrible reviews of this organization. Don't go here. These people are unprofessional.

Love working with this company. Great therapist and I’m very happy with everything
