List of Mendes Family Dentistry's Reviews
had a chipped tooth repaired and it's literally worse after treatment than before I came to them I swear I don't know what they did but after the numbness wore off it's even sharper than before
I’ve only been to this dentist one time so far but everything went very well for me! I have a big fear of the dentist, but my visit was trouble-free. The staff, hygienist, and dentist were all very nice and did a good job. I ended up having a cavity and they filled it that same day. It was so quick and easy and completely painless.
I snored during part of my root canal. I am not exaggerating. I’m a nervous patient and move/fidget a lot but they made me very comfortable and gave me some headphones so I wouldn’t hear the drill. I’ve been coming here awhile and I highly recommend them.
Are they still even open??? I’d like to give more stars, because when I actually was able to see a dentist last year it was good. However, the front desk/scheduler is horrible. Why? Give them a call and see if they answer. Leave messages and see if they respond. Send emails, as requested per their website….doubtful they’ll reply. Foolishly I spent too much time (couple of months) trying to get through to no avail.
I've gone to this dental office for over 3 years and have always received excellent care even when I came in a little late for my appointments...
Front desk is horrible. In particular the older woman with short brown hair. I came to my appointment with all intentions of keeping it, however had horrible nausea that induced violent vomiting on my way to the apt due to my ongoing chemotherapy for cancer. I informed the decrepit receptionist that I had to cancel due to nausea from my chemo and her response was, “oh no how are we going to fill that appointment last minute?” Honestly that truly was a rude and hurtful response. My apologies for fighting cancer and not keeping the apt and projectile vomiting all over the provider. The company should reassess the front desk team as they are the main outlet for your customer service. I wish I could attend my usual dentist however they’re usually full.
Don’t go to this place. The doctor (the older one) was using a tone passive-aggressive all the time that my mom was there. They only care for your money, not the best for the patient.
The service once you get past the front doors is definitely 4 or 5 stars. The dental assistants have been very kind. Honestly, they could go even more intensely on the flossing for me. I can imagine how if you're less rigid about your flossing habit, you would not feel judged by the folks working on your teeth. No free floss or toothbrushes of adult dental care, but they have the fun ceiling stickers in all the rooms. My appointments go swiftly--which is especially great since the x-rays historically have been my least favorite part of dental care. The location is nestled right between two A-line spots and there's plenty of residential streets for parking. My main gripe is that I've had just the worst time with scheduling and interacting with the front desk reception team. Over the span of May and June 2023, I called about five times and did not even get my call picked up. Once I'm conversing over the phone, I don't need overly cheery, but I do just feel hostility whenever I try to get more information or just hit a wall because they only book out a month in advance. Or at least a returned call when I leave a voice message the week before the next month asking if I can schedule now, not hearing back, then calling to find out everything is in fact booked out. I have sat in the waiting room and watched families get treated with more enthusiasm than me as an individual trying to be proactive about dental health. While not everyone is into small talk, I am startled how unwelcomed I feel when I tried to engage beyond signing or asking clarifying questions--and see a very different reaction to the same types of conversations from a different person in the same ten minutes. Personally, will be switching for better customer service, but the dentistry in here is lovely.
I’m very happy with Dr. Charles he literally cares about people and helping them. I’ll give him five stars for that as far as the receptionist go they need to learn how to do their job as I have spent the last three hours on the phone between pharmacy insurance and the dental office in order to get a prescription filled that I needed and was treated rudely and told they did their part when actuality was is they did not fill out the form correctly. This can be very frustrating for a patient when they are in extreme amount of pain. That is my only complaint with Mindiaz family dentistry they should have better training or better informed receptionist than they do.
One of the best dentists I’ve ever been to. Extremely friendly, honest, and gentle. Check this dentist office out if you’ve had a bad experience elsewhere, you won’t be disappointed! Update: if you have emergency dental needs - expect to wait at least a week

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
