Homeless shelters housing support and more mnplaces for people to go.
I interned at MHAM for 4 months and it was such a positive experience All of the workers greeted me with warmth and kindness as a newcomer. I learned so much about the positive impact MHAM has on the mental health community in Minnesota. Their dedication and hard work towards their passion really shows. Although I am not there anymore I miss all of the workers and director dearly and know they are still doing great work for the community
MHAM is just another parasitic entity in mental health masquerading as an advocacy seeking consumer donation dollars and support to justify their existence. Ask MHAM what they have done what they seek to accomplish and most importantly ask them why they should be your voice in recovery.
MHAM has a passion for helping anyone that seeks their service. They are caring intelligent and resourceful. Appointments are readily available and they try to help you in the best way that they can for your specific situation. I recommend them to everyone
I am posting this to your site to share our experience We walked our sisterdaughter thru the er doors yesterday after a long long long hard day of finally getting her to go willingly for help This has been a long time battle. All of us finally got thru to her. The doctor put her on a 72 hour hold BUT thats a big BUT you had no room for her. Also you looked in the entire state of Minnesota which had NO room for her How how how does this happen? She is sick we all have seen and heard first hand. How do you Avera Marshall discharge her when she is put on a hold? We finally finally thought she is finally going to get the help she needs FINALLY. But NO you let her go back out the door I dont think you have any idea what this has done Why in the world can someone who is mentally Ill be kicked out of your facility because there is no room? Oh thats right quote its not illegal to be crazy is what we were told
I support MHAM with my energy and financial support because I believe in creating a mental health system that respects individuals and fosters their ability to create recovery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
