Kind and caring!
My son has a lot of anxiety. The tech and Dr. did amazing with him.
My children had their first dentist appointment MPDA. Staff, especially the dental hygienist, were friendly, kind, patient and creative. I so appreciated their patience and flexibility to work with my kids to help them feel comfortable.
Dr. Grove, is a wonderful person, who is good with kids. However, the dentist I was really discuss with her even when I told that you shouldn’t touch the sterile equipment without gloves she continued to assemble the equipment!
If you have a child with any kind of dental anxiety, this is the place to go. I have a child with some sensory issues and significant anxiety. When she was young, we tried a traditional dentists office, but they showed frustration with her and that just made things worse. The people at MPD have been nothing but patient and gentle and Dr. Moni is great. And if you need distraction during your dental procedure you can watch the Eras Tour on a TV mounted on the ceiling! : )
We will not be going back. I would give all of the staff five stars besides the dentist, he deserves a 1 star. He wasn’t listening to me and my concerns for my child. If you work with human people, maybe you should listen to them instead of being so righteous. I understand the science behind dentistry but the answers he gave me, I could have googled it. 🙄🙄🙄.
Thank you staff for taking the extra time and care with my son. He is super scared when he goes and today he did awesome. I almost started to cry because of it. Your extra care does not go unnoticed.
I was looking forward to bringing my 3 year old to this dentist because of all of the great reviews. We did some prep (reading books, talking about what to expect, etc) to get her ready for the new experience. She was very excited and happy to cooperate until partially through the cleaning. She got nervous and crawled out of the chair. I was hoping for some more interventions/tactics to help her feel more comfortable, but I don’t feel like that happened. I was asked to hang onto my kiddo and lay her in the hygienist’s lap. The hygienist then held her down while she was screaming and crying in order to finish the cleaning. A similar thing happened for the exam. In the moment, I was a little stunned but just tried to calm her down. I think I would have asked for things to be done differently now that I’ve had time to reflect on the appointment. I can understand that this can be a normal response for a kiddo but just felt like she didn’t have a similar experience to what others have described. I felt like it was rushed and no other options were offered. I was also hoping to debrief about the situation or get some understanding of how we can help for next time, but I felt like there was little reassurance provided. It just seems that there should be more time/care/tactics utilized for a new, young patient.
An excellent place to take your children for a fun dental experience. They have a really fun working environment for children of all ages.
We had an incredible experience here. With a high anxiety child, any dental experience would have taken a lot of energy. Jennie, our hygienist behaved with expertise in working with my child who as she put it, needed a little bit more "TLC." She worked with me, and with the dentist we pivoted from a check on a crown, to include a cleaning, x-ray, and fluoride. The dentist was not phased by our special needs, and rolled with the way Jennie set us up for success. There are not a lot of experiences that we leave having accomplished *more* than expected.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
