Dr. Kelly provides exceptional care. At each appointment she explains what is happening with my eyes and answers all of my questions. During my first visit with her about 15 years ago, she noticed a rare condition with my left eye a mere 5 seconds after entering the exam room that two other ophthalmologists had overlooked!

This clinic lied to me that they had a neuro -optometrist. They had the appointment set up and everything. I was under the complete impression that I was seeing a neuro doctor when in fact I was just seeing a regular OD. Complete waste of money. I was scammed to and lied to just so they could get my business. On top of that, they misdiagnosed me because I later went to the RIGHT doctor and was diagnosed with the thing they said I didn't have! You can't make this stuff up. I also heard from a doctor that insurance companies send their clients there when they need the eye doctor to lie about things and submit faulty claims. I confronted them about my issue, and THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME! Complete liars and scammers that have no interest in your eye health and just take your money. This institution needs to be under serious investigation.

I went to St. Paul Eye Clinic for a consultation for cataract surgery. I had a thorough eye exam and then met with Dr. Kelly, who summarized the state of my cataracts and presented both the pros and potential risks associated with surgery. I found the consultation to be even-handed and informative. I am considering go ahead with surgery sooner rather than later, as it seems inevitable that my cataracts will only get worse.

I was told that eye exams go through medical insurance. I had reached my out of pocket max already (2025) due to having a baby so they implied this would be covered. I wanted to get my "surfers eye" (pinguecula) issue checked out since it's a medical problem not vision. They coded my appointment as non medical and my insurance denied it and my bill is a about $550 that I owe. If I knew it would be that much I wouldn't have even gotten my eyes looked at by them. I've called to see if they can correct this. Waiting to hear back still but it's a ridiculous amount for what was done at my appointment. I'd love to change my rating if it gets fixed but for this kind of vague communication on pricing I'm not recommending you go here. Dr. Lopez was nice though.

Wonderful experience. In and out for a full eye exam including prescription in well under an hour. Staff is very efficient with going from the near/far testing to the doctor coming in after you are dilated. Very appreciative of how I was treated and can tell the staff is well trained and happy with what they do.
