TRCC has wonderful residents, many dedicated, compassionate and very skilled employees across every department, and provides excellent nursing care. The nurses and CNA's are caring and thoughtful, treating residents like their own family members. The non nursing staff also go out of their way to treat residents with dignity and kindly. Excellent housekeepers, cooks, maintenance staff, etc.

I worked here for 10 months through the pandemic. Believe me when I say the workers DO NOT TAKE COVID SERIOUSLY!! Only 30% of the staff is vaccinated and they hardly wear their masks! This is why there is an outbreak there.

While working at the care center for over two years I experienced a lot of good and bad at this facility. There are some amazing workers there but they never get the recognition they deserve while they baby the lazy call in happy workers. There were more times than not that we were working with 2 aids to 35 residents. While we worked short only 1 nurse came to help during meals, transfers, cares; anything you needed help with he was always there to help. Most days residents wouldn’t even get the baths because we had no staff. You get mandated almost every shift you work. If you pick them up you got a bonus (so most people just do that) and if not you get nothing and are forced to miss watching your children grow. The only time the DON would come out of the office was when state was there and she wanted to look important. After seeing the way management treats staff and the lack of compassion for the residents I can’t recommend sending family here or working there again. Most staff put in well over 120 hours every 2 weeks and at that point you’re beyond exhausted. But along with all the negativity, some very good friendships were made there and you create a little family with the ones who are there for more than just income.

Please don’t send your loved ones here. They do not have enough staff ever. Usually 1 worker to 25 residents to get up and ready for the day. If you choose to work here say goodbye to your family because you will be mandated repeatedly. Very poor management- most management excluding one awesome male RN, is only there for a paycheck.

This facility creates a home atmosphere for the residents. They do their very best .

My mother is in this center now. She waits Everytime she calls for help. In pain, cold, having to use restroom but unable to unassisted. Everyday when I call she is waiting for someone to respond to her calls. The nurses are nice but the facility can not care for our elderly the way they need to. Short staffed they say. Unexcetaboe and very poor quality of care. Personally if it does not change a formal complaint will be made to Medicare for quality of care.
