Dr Grangaard takes time to talk things over with his patients. He listens and explains options rather than writing a prescription and booting you out the door.

Dr. Grangaard comes across as friendly and nice, but that disguises the fact that he thinks he knows much more than actually knows, which is a terrible quality as a doctor. It is doubtful that he reads up on medicines or has a good grasp of what they do. He literally said to me: "Well, this has worked well on most of my patients so it will probably work for you." He had me on a medicine that was terrible for me, but kept saying, lets wait another month and see if it's had enough time to work.

Great Dr for my vasectomy. Great sense of humor and explained everything very well. The procedure and recovery was a cakewalk.

My 62 year-old mother was suffering from calcific tendonitis in her shoulder. After Dr. Grangaard told her that he had no idea what was wrong with her and did not treat her pain he complained that he does not like dealing with old people who don't take care of their bodies and complain when they don't work, and that he missed delivering babies for young women (This is perverse). The doctors at Sports & Orthopaedic Specialists immediately diagnosed her and called the diagnosis obvious.
