It takes a lot to impress me and Dr. Thomas pulled it off with ease. I was squeezed in and had 3 hours notice and finger was not hurting so healing well and I needed to work asap so I considered not keeping the appointment, I really didn't think it was going to benefit my finger much anyway. Well I went because I remembered the confidence Dr. Thomas displayed when talking about the repair. I asked what he will do? Once in the finger will show him what he needs to do. That's how I attack problems. There is no cookie cutter repair on all each brings its own unique challenges. Once healed I'm going to have a finger that functions and looks better than it has since a surgery 17 years ago that left it crooked. The whole staff was 5 star all the way. I will get my new left hip at Summit for sure soon. We all had a good laugh after the surgery over a diet tea joke. Thank you very much.... Awesome!

Doctor Thomas and his PA are very detailed and make sure everyone is comfortable with how they are handling your issue. Highly recommend

My experience was great. Dr. Andrew Thomas and the rest of the team made me feel at ease and explained everything to me for my procedure!

I Dr. Thomas and his team fix a torn bicep tendon for me in the past for a Worker’s Comp injury. The operation went perfectly with no problems. Currently I had a different problem with my right hand where I was getting ulcers on my last two fingers that weren’t healing. I went to my family doctor not knowing what was causing the problem. He didn’t know so He gave me antibiotics. These didn’t help so I went back. All the while my fingers had gotten worse. He then set me up for a nerve test and an appointment with an orthopedic doctor. They never contacted me for the test and when I saw the orthopedic doctor, he didn’t know and set me up for another test. They never called me to set up a test. At this point I was becoming worried I would lose my fingers. It had been 6 weeks since I first went in with this.They wanted a review and I honestly told them how I felt about this and they called me the next day to set the test up (which was the wrong test) but they couldn’t do it until July 22. At that point I canceled and went back to Summit and saw Dr. Thomas. He looked at my hand an knew almost immediately what was wrong and ordered the correct test. They got me scheduled for the test and a pre-operation visit and the surgery in slightly more than 2 weeks. Everything started healing 1 day after surgery. Dr. Thomas and his entire team are simply incredible. I feel they saved my fingers. I hope I won’t have any other issues with my arms but if I do I’ll go straight to Dr. Thomas and his team. I will eventually need to have my knees redone. From what I hear about that Doctor, he’s as good as Dr. Thomas. Basically Summit Orthopedics has basically guaranteed themselves they are the place I’ll go for any Orthopedic work.
