I’ve seen Dr. Parten for years and have always experienced 5 Star service!

Trying to be honest/fair writing review. Was really hoping I could provide a solid review on Dr. Forseth and Dr. Partens (nice guys) who did my shoulder and elbow surgery on the same day back in November 2021. Was told by both teams, I would recover within 3-4 months, back in the gym, playing guitar. It is now almost one year later, 7 months of physical therapy and I am still in the same boat before surgeires. Cannot work out or play guitar without pain. I did everything the physical therapists at Summit orthopedic asked to the tee. When I did inform Dr. Parten and team of lack of results with PT, I would just get more PT ordered. I also did 6 months of physical therapy at Summit before surgeries. Again in the same predicament as I was three years ago. Very unfortunate with a lot of time, energy, and money wasted. Again this is just an honest view of my experience.

Dr. Parten and his team are the absolute best. I was dealing with a complex shoulder injury for two years. When I saw Dr. Parten, he was kind and helped me understand the plan for reverse shoulder replacement. Other surgeons wouldn't touch my shoulder stating it was too complex of an injury. I am so very thankful that Dr. Parten and his team had the expertise to fix not only the shoulder, they helped me believe that it could be fixed. Six weeks post surgery, and I feel stronger, more confident, and that my body is healing itself...something I hadn't felt in two years. My body needed Dr. Parten to fix what it couldn't. Don't give up hope, see Dr. Parten.

When pain drove me to seek a total shoulder, I researched all of the orthopedic surgeons in the Twin Cities and surrounding area. I am quite sure I found the best shoulder replacement specialist around: Dr. Peter Parten. Peter performs about 100 shoulder replacements a year! His extensive experience is obvious: I had worn the joint bones down so severely that Peter had to install a reverse total shoulder using a bone graft from my humerous. My recovery was uneventful, and my post-surgical pain was well-managed. I have since recovered my full range of motion, and I have no further pain. I thank God for modern medicine, and for my having found and chosen Dr. Parten to fix my shoulder.

Dr. Parten and his team are very caring, genuine in their interaction. Dr. Parten took great care to ensure that we had the information about my shoulder in a way that was easy to understand, helping to make an informed decision about next-steps. I found Dr. Parten to be attentive to the patient and their spouse in answering all questions to our level of satisfaction; he did not give the impression that he was being held tightly to a schedule. When it comes to making a 'huge' decision about how to get out of pain and back to one's normal activity level, Dr. Parten helped by providing real content about what happened, why this happened, how it could be managed and how to work closely and collaboratively to ensure the best outcome. My first impressions were that Dr. Parten and his team are 'top-notch'.

Dr Parten did both of my rotator cuff surgeries. He's especially kind and patient and his entire team, Abby and Deb are wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend him

I broke my elbow and he fixed it up
