First things first every nurse, cna/nar, activity assistant, and every dietary aide are the most amazing people. A wonderful group of staff with the biggest hearts I have ever known. The residents are so incredibly blessed to have them.And then there's management. Administration, DON, and scheduler. They have got to be the worst group of people I've ever seen running a nursing home. They do NOT care about their residents and they do NOT care about their staff at all.There have been many times where a resident has been requesting to speak to them and they do not go see them. They do NOT care about the safety for their residents nor their staff example:There have been multiple times, management has not communicated to the staff about a new admission to the building. Often staff doesn't know about them until they are in their bed asking for assistance. This leaves the staff scrambling to figure out the care plan while taking care of the residents they already have. Oh but don't worry! The emails that they send to staff are reminders to wear their eye protection rather than about how the new admit transfers safely!The scheduler does not compromise nor does she work with the staff when it comes to days off or switching shifts. It is often mentioned that someone doesn't get a day off because the scheduler doesn't want to change it.The lack of respect, the lack of passion and the lack of benevolence management has shown, its incredible this business is still open.PLEASE I beg, do not put your family here and PLEASE do not work here. If you are working here, please don't stay. If you stay, I'm so incredibly thankful that you're here taking care of these amazing people but, please do not let this management eat you alive..

A week or two ago my Great Aunt moved into ZHS, My family has been in and out to visit her alot already, they seem to be a bit short staffed but there is a nurse named Nelly that seems to always find the time to help her out. She is very helpful with her walking and we hope the care and support continues, because we love it!

My family member has stayed in Zumbrota Health Services for awhile now. She did not have much to say about the company til recently. She has been talking about a helper/cna named Janel that has been taking excellent care of her! God bless people in the world like this that care!
