Dr Avdagic and her team are knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Most importantly she and her team listen to me, evaluate, recommend, and follow-up to ensure I reach my health and wellness goals. I'm really thankful I found her and so close to my home in Imperial!!!

This review is a reflection of the Mercy Health system and not Dr. Avdagic. Unfortunately, Dr. Avdagic is part of this network and it ultimately reflects poorly on her office. I called Dr. Avdagic’s office to get an appointment for my mother, but was not able to get anyone in her office to speak to. Mercy has a system where you can only speak to a call center representative and they can pass a message along to the doctor’s office. I explained to the call center rep that my mother was 6 months overdue for bloodwork and would like to schedule an appointment that was sooner than the next available they had 4 months from now. In my previous conversation with a call center rep, I was informed to call early in the morning and ask for a same day appointment, as they kept some appointment times open. The representative today stated that unfortunately nothing was available for the particular reason my mother needed to be seen for and they only had appointments for emergencies. If she had an emergency, the doctor could see her on the same day, but if she was overdue to be seen for a health condition that needed to be monitored, she can continue to wait. I find it hard to believe that call center employees have the authority to pick and choose what constitutes a significant enough reason to be seen by a doctor sooner rather than later, without consulting the doctor of that patient. This is negligent and dangerous for medical conditions that require doctor monitoring. Since Mercy has taken this office over, patients are becoming numbers and no personal care is being offered. From our experience, we are looking to find a new physician for my parents that doesn’t work for a corporation like Mercy, but is in an independent doctor who actually cares about the well being of his/her patients.

I recently visited Dr. Avdagic as part of my regular annual check up. Dr. Avdagic is very calm, composed, and easy to understand. She was detailed on evaluating and explaining my lab results which were completed prior to my appointment. Very happy with my PCP choice.

I absolutely love Dr. Avdagic. She’s thorough, straight forward and really listens to what you have to say not just easily throwing out prescriptions without hearing what’s wrong first. I never feel like she’s just rushing through the visit to get on to the next patient. I can not recommend her enough.

Dr. Avdagic was very good, took her time with me and seemed genuinely concerned. Some of the office staff are very less than helpful however. The office staff underestimates how important they are to the overall satisfaction of their customers. I hope this review is read and helps improve staff friendliness and willingness to help their patients.

I Was a patient of Dr. Mirtha Avdagic for 10 years and , I 3 month check up and I was walking out the door after my appointment when she stopped me and asked me too pee in a cup to check my levels and and with out second thought I did and the next day her office called me to inform me that my urine test came back positive for Marijuana and that I had none of my prescribed pills in my system , which is a lie and That I was banned from the premises and that she would no longer be my primary and that she turned it over to the state , and I couldn't get another primary Doctor or medications ever again in the State Of Missouri, She wouldn't even give me another urinalysis test ! I have been forced to go to another state and move there because I need to keep my disability ! I Have been forced to leave my family my friends and everything I've known to go somewhere where I know no one and nothing Just to keep my disability! She Has destroyed my entire life without a second thought ! I have had to indure Being labeled as a drug addict in treated like onetoo ! she has destroyed my entire life ! Please I beg you don't go too her and let her do this too you !

I’ve only been going to Dr. Avdagic for about a year now. She is so sweet and looks after her patients well. Or let’s say she is taking good care of me.

I LOVE this Doctor! She covers everything that I may be concerned about, happy to answer any questions that I may have. I never feel rushed during my appointments; I feel like I am a priority. She is Bosnian, and speaks English very clearly. Very skilled, even taking care of minor procedures in office without having to see a specialist. She is very down-to-earth and easy to talk to, which leads to a healthier me! Wouldn't see anyone else.
