List of Sandeep Rohatgi's Reviews
Our 8 year-old daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy 2 years ago, with Dr. Rohatgi as her primary care physician her whole life. When she was diagnosed, Dr. Rohatgi clearly expressed that anything relating to her seizures needed to be addressed by her neurologist because he was not qualified to discuss. We understood and appreciated the honesty. He referred us to Children's neurology, who ended up prescribing our daughter an anti-seizure medication, Keppra, which adversely affected her and increased her seizures (Not Dr. Rohatgi's fault at all). My husband and I did some research and wanted to try to help our daughter in a less toxic way. Putting our daughter on another anti-seizure medication is something we can not take lightly, we are affecting her developing life and future livelihood by choosing pharmaceuticals. So we put her on CBD. Her seizures gradually spread further and further apart. However, we just took her in for her yearly check-up last week. Everything has been going well for her besides chronic neck pain, which Dr. Rohatgi has been aware of since the beginning. At the yearly visit, Dr. Rohatgi interrogated my husband on the CBD, even as my husband tells him the neurologist is handling all medications related to seizures, and he is aware of the CBD. So bringing me to this week..I called and requested imaging of our daughter's neck, since it had not been done. Dr. Rohatgi referred us to the ER through his nurse. I explained to the nurse this pain has been chronic and comes and goes. I asked if Dr. Rohatgi could give me a call so we can discuss, believing this is just a miscommunication of details. Dr. Rohatgi called me after hours and from the minute he starts talking, the attitude displayed was unbelievable. He goes straight into talking about the CBD, which is something we never asked him to address nor was it the reason for the call. Everything I said related to my daughter's neck pain went unheard. He did not respond to one thing I said, he just continued with his speech which led to him saying he can longer see our daughter as a patient if she is taking CBD. I explained my disappointment in the way he handled this situation and the level of unprofessionalism I received. What Dr. Rohatgi did to our family was unethical and proved to me that in no way has our daughter's best interest been first in his mind. The whole situation we experienced was astonishing. It seems as though some doctors are only helpful if you do not ask any questions. They just want people to say yes to everything they say, even if contrary to their own beliefs. We look at this as a blessing in disguise, as we want to have our children with an empathetic doctor that puts their patients first. I hope this review saves others time when choosing a pediatrician for their child and hopefully has current patients question this practice altogether.
I need to leave a review for this wonderful doctor! My son is now 21 and on his way to becoming a Doctor himself. Doctor Rohatgi was in Sam’s life at one day old...he came to the hospital right after Sam was born and was in our lives until we relocated to Kansas City MO...I was on a quest to find a pediatrician like him and unfortunately none of the doctors ever measured up. We moved in 2006 when Sammy was 5. I missed the caring, compassionate people that worked with us those first five years. Thanks Doctor Rohatgi and staff for helping those first years it was the best!
Love Dr Rohatgi!!
Not a good fit for us.
Love Dr. Rohatgi!! He’s been a pediatrician to my children for 13 years, and he’s AWESOME!! He’s always so kind, patient, and truly listens!! There has been times where I took kids to er, and urgent care, all to end up back with Dr “Hockey” (my kids call him). The other dr.s misdiagnosed, then Dr. Rohatgi, always gets to the bottom of it!! Can’t say enough good about him!!
I went to Dr. Rohatgi when I was a child and now my two kids go here. We have followed him through the years. Everyone enjoy him being their doctor. I wish he wouldn’t have moved even farther away from us, but that’s life.
We love Dr.Rohatgi. We have been with him since our oldest was born. A ton of my friends kids see him also. If the above reviewer is reviewing the office and not the Dr he should change his review. Also as if the date of his review Dr.Rohatgi was no longer with this office. Note: Dr. Rohatgi is no longer with this practice he is now with WashU physcians in a different arnold location. Although, i liked the office also.
He is such a good doctor, I feel like he really cares about kids and has a nice demeanor. My son is now going on 4 and we have been with Dr. Rohatgi since he was born 😊
Dr Sandeep Rohatgi is an exceptional physician who is also incredibly kind. He always finds a way to work last minute appointments into his schedule. I cannot believe how blessed we are to find him.
I really love Dr. Rohatgi. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to answer any questions thoroughly and with a refreshing level of patience and genuine interest in your concerns/thoughts. When I first met him, I was researching vaccination trying to decide whether to do them or not, and I loved that when I said I was considering delayed vaccination, he asked me why, not in a threatening way, but with genuine interest in why I was considering that option. I have to say, that response really took me off-guard in a good way. AFTER listening to me, he took time to explain why he was in favor of vaccines, which I felt was very non-threatening, kind and compassionate. He made sure I knew it was ultimately my decision, but he was direct and knowledgeable about the issue, something I very much appreciate. Beyond that interaction, I love that when I take my daughter in for his visits, he always has such a kind, positive demeanor. He really is one of the kindest and most well-informed doctors I've had. I really have loved my experience with him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
