Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

I tore a ligament in my left thumb and had to have surgery in June. You never realize how much you need your thumb until you can't use it. With Lisa's help, my recovery went faster than expected. She was very caring and personable. She let me know what I needed to do and would listen to me when I had a concern or question about something. My surgeon had a detailed plan for my recovery and with her help I was able to move quickly through his steps. Thank you Lisa and Athletico.

My physical therapist Jared does a great job getting me back in shape after injuries. It's a very convenient easy to access place. Good environment.

Lisa is just the greatest OT anyone could have! She is knowledgeable and truly cares about your progress. All of her patients that I have seen have such great rapport with her. She is also very flexible with her scheduling which helped a lot since I work a full time job. I feel like with consistent exercising that she helped me with I will be able to get back to normal.

I had rotator cuff surgery the middle of January and Hunt has been working with me to regain movement in my arm. He has been absolutely a miracle worker!! I just saw my doctor and he was amazed that I had almost full movement!!! Hunt and I worked hard together twice a week for 6 weeks. I faithfully did the exercises he gave me to do at home. I've now been approved for another 6 weeks of PT with Hunt only this time to strengthen my arm. I have no doubt by the end of my recovery my arm will be back to normal. THANK YOU HUNT

As always, I had a positive, upbeat, experience. The staff, while professional and so very skilled, makes everyone in the room feel like they belong. The attentive, individualized therapy and the consistent focus I receive, ensures that I feel improvement every session.

Massive overcharging of services. Be very aware of what you are charged. They will do everything possible to bill as much as they can. 30 minute visits (not even one one one) were were between $380 to $475. The code they used was for one on one visits, which my daughter did not receive. Call to billing got me nowhere. Corporate PT.

Can't say enough good things about the professional and welcoming staff of Athletico in Des Peres. This is my second occasion to work with Kevin Doherty; this time to rehab my shoulder following surgery. Mid-way through my therapy and the results are exceeding the surgeon's expectations. Kevin's communication and reporting to the surgeon assures we are all on the same path to full recovery as our goal. Scheduling is efficient and Molly is there to welcome you. Their Covid precautions are consistent and thorough. The staff makes therapy an enjoyable experience but never takes anything for granted, pushing for the best possible results.

My primary care doc referred me to Athletico Des Peres for excruciating arm and shoulder pain which landed me in the ER. By the time I met John K. for my initial PT assessment I was in a zombie-like fog, I could barely move, and I hadn’t slept in a month. John’s PT regimen brought me out of pain and taught me how to change my routine to keep my spine healthy, allowing me to get back to my life and work. I highly recommend John for his skill, care, and professionalism, and I’m grateful for the welcoming and friendly attitude of the whole Athletico Des Peres team.

Nothing but fabulous things to say about my daughter’s experience!! She felt like a queen walking into therapy each day❤️ At the age of 9, she became quick friends with all the staff and patients in the clinic and it was clear that FUN therapy was key to her progress:) She’s back on the field and we couldn’t be happier 🙌🏻
