Dr. Mahaffey is a wonderful doctor. He is very kind, patient, and caring. He listens to what you say and makes a plan to help you. He dealt with my knees for years helping prolong my need for surgery with great therapies. This office staff is very sweet as well.

I wouldn't know. I did everything they asked me to do, just to make an appointment, and was completely blown off. So, to even make an appointment I needed to retrieve MRI, X-rays and surgeon report from 2015. So, I did. They never have followed up. It's been 6 days. I have left several messages. Yesterday I contacted a different doctor. This doctor was able to schedule me immediately. I was able to get over 50cc of fluids drained from my knee and get a prescription for PT.

Dr. Brian Mahaffey is a superb physician. I was seen by him following a fall in which I was left unconscious. He dx me with a severe concussion. Thank goodness for him initially because MOST DOCS DO NOT UNDERSTAND CONCUSSIONS . DR. MAHAFFEY DOES UNDERSTAND CONCUSSIONS!!! I followed his algorithm of care and took the correct steps to get the care I needed. I got a Neuropychologist eval. (IQ type testing) Neurologist eval, Neuro PT, etc. I am 2.4 years out from my concussion and I suffer from PCS specifically severe migraines, vertigo, tinnitus and ultimate fatigue. My (body battery only charges to 50% MAX capacity, not like 100% like it used to.) So I wake up everyday with 50% energy level at MAX capacity post concussion. Pre-concussion I was doing Ironmans, marathons, an elite masters runner, a mom to pre-order teens, working, running 10 miles a day, wonder woman! Now, 4 out of 7 days I can't drive I'm too dizzy, my husband has taken over my A" mom" duties, I stay home and don't do family activities, and I WALK on my treadmill maybe 5- 10,000 steps if I push myself only because I know blood flow is good for the brain and muscles. So, I'm back to see Dr. Mahaffey and see if he has anymore tools in his tool box for me and he does. He is very caring, supportive and has many resources available for his patients. His goal is always to get the patient back to what they love to do. So he is digging deeper inro blood work and there is hope with furrher PT that make me hopeful and happy once again. AMEN!! That is what he is born to do and that is just what he does!! A phenomenal man and physician!!!

Dr. Mahaffey is excellent. He diagnosed my son's underlying musculoskeletal imbalance which was the cause of his knee pain and fixed it with targeted physical therapy. Not your typical ice and motrin approach... Mahaffey is THE choice for an Athlete's doc!
