Dr. Bains, is an exceptional physician that listens to his patients history and the trauma that has shape the development of where they are at right now. He doesn’t just have a set of medications that he goes to, that he treats all his patients with. He makes an individual treatment plan for each patient and starts with the less invasive to begin their care. He considers their life , feelings and goals when making the right treatment plan for them, as they are apart of his decisions. If a patient will talk to him, he is always there to listen and ready to help in any way he can. Dr. Bains, Set the bar of Mental Health to a new level.

Doesn't care about the patient, only money! I saw two of Dr. Bains nurse practitioners and they were both great however he ran off both of them and I was never informed until I tried to get a refill on my medication. The second time it happened I was insured that Dr. Bains would refill my prescription for 30 days however he just didn't so I went back the next day on my lunch break and no one would come to the front desk...I could hear a copier in the back rooms so I yelled for help and no one ever came up to help me. Bibi Health should not be able to practice medicine. Ridiculous company to say the very least!

Awful!! Dr bains is very arrogant. He won’t prescribe your medication on time. You can’t get any calls back. His staff is very rude when you’re having episodes he’s not helpful at all. I seriously would recommend going to someone else. Burrell is a great place. He doesn’t give you the time that you need to Xpress. Your concerns. Do not go to him.

Sketchy Don’t waste your money or health

Avoid at all costs I would give 0 stars if I could. Extremely rude. Does not listen or care. Spends less than 5 mins with you. This is a drive thru service not a care facility. He makes me feel so incredibly bad about yourself when you are already struggling so much. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Dismissive and arrogant Leaving Baines office I was literally in tears. He made me feel small. After reading the reviews I have realized it is not a “me” issue, rather a “him” issue. He’s arrogant, dismissive and clearly has better things to do than speak with patients. If you struggle with mental health, I would not recommend Baines.

He is rude and careless. He runs kids through his office like cattle. Our longest visit was maybe 4 minutes. My son is his patient and has had numerous visits and he's never spoken directly to him and he's 14. He just reviews the scripts with me, his mother, and refills them and demands you to come back every few weeks so he can bill out more visits and if you can't he won't refill the scripts and is willing to let them lapse, which is very concerning. He's very controlling, doesn't listen. He is also very rude and hateful to his nurses.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Bains. He runs his office like an assembly line. He doesn't take 5 minutes with patients , he's rude , arrogant , & entitled. He doesn't listen , show concern , answer questions or have respect for others. He sits at his desk & calls patients in like a drill sergeant. He doesn't listen , show concern , or take time to answer questions or address concerns. He's let me run out of RX's on 2X's--once due to med change & once he went on vacation. His office staff is fairly pleasant , but he's a Dr. you'll dread appointments. The 1X he spent extra time with me , it was to badger me about getting the Covid vaccine. He really pushed it way too far ! I really believe if you go in for the 'prepatient' screening , you'll decide to go elsewhere !

Dr. Bains is an outstanding Psychiatrist in Southwest Missouri that offers treatment that is the best in the World. I’ve spent months trying to have a discussion with another doctor locally, hoping he would understand the future of medicine, and it was difficult and time consuming. This doctor is practicing what is within certain circles and studies originally held throughout the U.S. by a Yale University study. This was my first experience having a conversation for psychiatric disorders instead of pain. Only the best Professors, and Doctors in the World know there’s a new future of medicine and Springfield finally has that available. Blessing. It is so nice to hear a doctor give a patient hope, instead of picking apart medication‘s that have worked in the past, which took years of trials to get corrected. Certain psychiatric conditions have a need for hope in a way that is beyond difficult to put into words. I saw many reviews that had been negative about the doctor and they expected services similar to therapy from psychologist. Many people need to figure out that this is a psychiatrist, and he is there to do med management. Anyone of intelligence would figure out that this is an incredible doctor. He executes quickly, in a timely manner in order to document and move on to help others.
