I wouldn't suggest anyone going to this lady regardless other reviews. They may only have had a good experience due to how rich they were or a type of manipulation. We only went to her once due to not being able to have an appointment with my son's primary that specific day needed . She literally removed my son's primary and purseeded to add herself as a primary without our consent. She also refuses to remove herself from my son's care team, she was not giving permission for that either. She forces herself into your children's life just like an intruder would, or a stalker. I've called number of times and it is still not fixed. That means intrusive stalker. I take online college courses and descussed this with one of my colleagues and my colleague said this is an unprofessional attitude and could be very concerning for my son in these times of days

Absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Merrick! She answered all of our questions without making me feel like I was being judged for not knowing things. She really cares about her patients and I am so happy she is our son's pediatrician. She did a thorough job. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Refused to help my child. Does not believe anything the parent or teacher says. Faxed confidential paperwork and it was lost.

I have a special needs child. Changing doctors is always hard on both myself and my child. She made us both feel comfortable and took the time to listen to his needs. She scheduled multiple appointments to be sure that he was well cared for. She is very kind and takes her time. After dealing with several other Perpetration's in the Springfield area I would give her very high marks.
