He was always so courteous and you could feel he really cared. I was pretty sick with chrons complications and he was so awesome and patient. I honestly believe he saved my life. I would highly recommend him he is the best you can find.

Dr McMurray did my emergency surgery while I was on vacation in Branson. He was the Dr I needed as he treated me with knowledge of my severe chemical allergies and respected my input. He cares about his patients.

I am from Canada and needed emergency hernia surgery. Dr. McMurray was an excellent surgeon. He took the time to explain the procedure to us and was very thorough. I would highly recommend him as a Dr. Excellent bedside manner!

Let me start by saying this is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a review on anything but this DR is worth the time. In office visit, he was informative (actually drawing a pic of options for procedures)professional and confident. I then saw him before surgery and again, same. His team was amazing, putting my mind at is right from the start. I highly recommend him, the team, and Cox.

Dr. McMurray was the surgeon on call when my son was seen in the E.R. for bowel obstruction, complicated by v/p shunt and severe abdominal adhesions. He thoroughly explained what he did know, and did not hesitate to consult colleagues on things he was unsure about. He spent 6 hours in the O.R. successfully helping my son. He responded to my concerns and did further tests to diagnose unforseen complications related to the shunt. He is knowledgeable, and was respectful and compassionate, always
