Jeremy Mabe's Online Review Report Card

Gave dx, then failed to put in orders for over 1 week.

Dr. Jeremy Mabe is an excellent family doctor. He communicates very well, makes educated diagnoses, uses a powerfully smart database to enter symptoms to find out what might be going on with you. He takes time with each patient - never rushes. He is excellent with children as well as elderly.

I went to Dr. Mabe on recommendations from friends. Imagine my surprise when upon our first visit he threatened to kick us out of his practice if I didn't vaccinate my young son. He didn't even listen to my reason for why (previous adverse reactions). It was a scary experience and very disheartening. I felt bullied by he and his nurse. No need to kick us out of your practice, Mabe. We will never return or recommend you.

Personally, I believe Dr. Mabe and especially his nurse practitioner, Beth Knox are the best PCPs in the area. I am thankful to have them. ..and to have found them following a life-shattering event, by coincidence. Thanks to them listening to me and not judging me, I have remained stable and compensated. I feel comfortable with Beth. She truly is amazing. The office manager, Melissa, is phenomenal as well.

how can a patient of his for a very long time more than a decade and each time I see him in the last few years his treatment has been very poor he will not listen to my concerns his mind is made up before I start talkin he's changed and not for the better thank you

If you're looking for a doctor dont come here. Doctor Buzzard has the worst bedside manners I ever saw. I went in looking for a primary doctor. I only wanted a handicap sticker for my car. That's a joke. I've been disabled for 20 years. I speed much of my time living like a paraplegic... not fun.. He got very upset about the issue and told me no. I told he I guess we are done. He said yes we are. A week later I got a letter from him. Basically saying that he divorced me, and that I cant come back. Crazy.... I will be notifying a hospital administrator about the issue. Problem is they dont care either. Why can't doctors be human. Why must they fell they have to play God. Another crazy thing. I gave the man a flier with a short life story about myself. It was in huge letters where I was from. He pretended to read it. Lmao After her supposedly read it he said. I don't know where you are from but we do not give out the medicine you are on. Went on to tell me no one would ever give my that kinda of medication just rambling on. My medication is ketamine and it does wonders. With no side effects. I didn't even ask him for meds. Nor would I take them if he offered. The funny thing is he was so sure of himself. Lmao Ketamine treatment is new and is available just 30 miles from this clinic, and is available in many states and areas. This doctor has no clue what he is doing or telling you. Hay doc go back to school it may help. To bad it won't help your personality. To the CEO of coxhealth I'm very disappointed in your administration to allow a man like this to have patients. I'm tired of people like Buzzard who think way to highly of themselves.

Amazing person! Great bedside manner! Very thorough in his diagnosis and treating with the right meds! I refer a lot of people to him

My mother-in-law’s Parkinson’s Disease went undiagnosed and untreated for over a year thanks to Dr. Mabe. She went to him multiple times with multiple symptoms that were indicative of Parkinson’s. He said he shaking “could be many things” but never did much to figure it out. After more than a year of this my in-laws asked for a referral to a Neurologist. The Neurologist asked her a few questions, had her walk across the room, and diagnosed Parkinson’s within minutes! There is no definitive test for PD. Patients are put on a dopamine drug and if they get better, that means Parkinson’s. There is no harm in trying the drug. It is not a costly test or procedure. Dr. Mabe could have easily done this at any time. Instead my mother-in-laws quality of life went down hill for a year before getting help. Dr. Mabe may be an OK doctor for younger patients but not for the elderly. Another review on this site has the same conclusion.

Dr Mabe has zero knowledge of Lyme disease and doesn’t bother to learn or listen to learn. He talks non stop and accomplishes zero. I now have chronic Lyme disease because of his lack of concern and knowledge.

Dr Mabe took almost an hour after my appointment time to get to me but once he did I thought he was great. Explained everything to me. Was very friendly and professional. Spent along time with explaining what he was doing and why. I found him to be a very good dr and have already recommended him to other family members.
