I had surgery on my thumb almost 6 months ago and I have just started having trouble with it hurting and wasn't able to hold a fork this morning. Definitely won't suggest him. Also had trigger finger and it still locks up.
I am 4+ years since my Robotic assisted partial knee replacement. One of my better decisions. Dr. Cornett did an outstanding job and the operation and post op recovery went as he said it would. I consulted with three surgeons prior to Dr. Cornett and all three told me I needed a total knee replacement. Upon viewing my xray, Dr. Cornett immediately identified me as a candidate for a partial rather than the traditional "full' replacement.
The staff and Dr Cornett where awesome would recommend to family and friends!
Dr. Cornett replaced both of my knees and I think he did an amazing job. He was always polite, answered all questions, took as much time as needed before and after at appointments and truly listened to my concerns on an individual basis. I feel like I am a new person. I just sent my 81 yr old Mother to him for a knee replacement, as well. He will also be doing a hip replacement for her. Couldn't ask for a better surgeon!
He is a great orthopedic doctor. And he done a great job on my hip. Now he will be doing my left knee in October.
I have had both hips replaced by Dr. Alan Cornett D.O.. Most recent replacement was performed in late January 2020. I have been involved in the medical field for over 30 years, working with many physicians. I easily place Dr. Cornett at the pinnacle of all I have been associated with and worked with. His expertise in orthopedic surgery has allowed me to return to the very active lifestyle I was accustomed to, prior to the DJD in my hips. This includes playing tennis at a very competitive level and other very active activities. He is passionate about his practice and the care provided, and he is compassionate to his patients. And he LISTENS to his patients. Thank you Dr. Cornett!
I'm Dave Reimer. Dr. A. Cornett has completed 3 meniscus repairs, a partial knee replacement and just completed my right knee fullk replacerment. I can't say enough good about his character, personality and most of all, his work. When he looked at my L. knee 4 years ago, he suggested a partial medial replacement. I have played basketball, tennis, water skiing, backpacking into the Goat mountain wilderness with a 45 lb pack. Left knee worked great. I needed a right knee replacement, and due to it being full of artheritis, he did a full replacement. 13 days out of surgery, I am walking, have a +2 degree straightness before therapy and 110 degree bend. Healing is great and look forward to many years of activity. Need a knee replacement? Choose Dr. Cornett!!!!!! 10 stars out of 5. You won't be disappointed!
Dr. Cornett has replaced both my hips and my wife’s knee..he is top notch.
Let me tell you a little something about this Dr. Cornett. I’ve never in my life seen such a careless man. He let my 82 year old Grandmother go too long with a hematoma in her leg and it nearly killed her. My Aunt begged him to drain the infection out and he never once cared to listen to what Grams needed. He tried at all costs to avoid caring for her leg slapping her with just another antibiotic. NKC hospital literally had to tell him to get his *** up there and drain it. If you are looking for a doctor ( surgeon) that genuinely cares for people and will work his *** off at all cost to give his patients the best care possible.... this Dr. Cornett is NOT your guy. My Grandmother deserves way better. She is still not healed btw. The sooner we are done with this doctor the better.
Broke my pelvis, assigned to Dr Cornett in hospital. Resident visited to tell me I had a hairline fracture and would be on a walker six weeks. No further information was given. Two other doctors visited while I was hospitalized. Quick 30 second visits. I was never shown an x-ray until my first office visit. I asked to see my x-rays and was surprised to see more than the hairline crack. The doctor apologized half-heartedly. Apparently, my fracture was no big deal. The next week I left a message regarding unusual and severe pain. This also was apparently not a concern. By the way, the nurses’ VM greeting states it may be 24 to 48 hours before my call could be returned. This is totally unacceptable in any medical practice. I am now established with an orthopedic doctor who seems quite concerned about the fracture, has taken new x-rays and an MRI to investigate why I really am experiencing severe pain at the 6 week point. And, a real nurse actually answers the phone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
