Dr. Kowalik is an amazing physician and surgeon!!! I had a great evaluation prior to surgery, she explained my treatment options, surgery and recovery in great detail. She did an excellent job on my surgery which has been life changing!!! My care at the University of Kansas Health System was also excellent following my surgery! I give Dr. Kowalik my highest recommendation and encourage women with pelvic floor issues to seek her help.

I have seen Dr Kowalik several times. She is very knowledgeable and very personable while taking her time to discuss your condition.She personally has called me on a couple of my follow ups. I am a paraplegic and have a neurogenic bladder. I have Botox injections for this every 6 months. Her office staff are very friendly and helpful. I am very happy with my care. I would love to tell you about my visit, but I couldn't get that far. I called to make an appointment on a Monday and was told that they require me to have my records sent over before I can even make an appointment. Then I would be called after that received them. Hmmm. Ok. Had them sent over, gave them until the end of the week. Still no call. I call them Friday, to find out that I need to call the office directly Monday morning (versus the scheduling desk their website directs you to) in order to make an appointment. After about 15 phone calls - none of which were ever answered by anyone at her office, and 4 voicemails, I gave up and found a new specialist to see. I did get one voicemail back - 2 days later, on my cell phone - after I specifically left in the voicemail that I don't have my cell at work, and what my work phone and ext was. Don't waste your time and stress on this one. She obviously has better things to do.
