Unprofessional, insensitive clown-show! I wish I could use no stars! Dr. Barnhill didn't listen and was answering messages on his i-watch the whole time. He did not once ask any diagnostic questions and said let me guess you are one of those people that lives at the gym... I said no, never did he inquire about the type of exercise I do, as I tried to tell him, he again was on his i-watch not listening. He completely dismissed my pain and told me I was fine. He asked me and I quote this quite specifically, ( did you see all those large women in my waiting room as he gestured roundness with his arms around his waist) He said "all I do is hip and knee replacements, you are fine I don't know why you are saying you are in pain, then told me to get an exercise bike and a new mattress. Then stood back with a rude grin on his face and hands clasp at his waist. The interaction lasted around less than 5 minutes. I would not suggest anyone see this physician, how dare a doctor reference other patients appearance or issues. I spoke to the practice manager and she was very apologetic which I appreciated, that was the one positive interaction from that office.

Dr Barnhill replaced both of my knees. I was extremely impressed with how well I did after the surgery and the success of my knee surgery. Dr Barnhill is very caring I'm I would highly recommend Dr Barnhill for knee replacement surgery.

I used to think he was the best. Had a knee replacement done 2018. I’ve had pain issues ever since, but all he kept saying is that the knee looked good. Jump to July 2020 and I’ve found out that the replacement failed. He never took me seriously when I told him the excruciating pain I was in. I’ve discovered a wonderful orthopedic to do the revision surgery and will never go back to Dr. Barnhill.

Dr. Barnhill did Tammy's left hip replacement surgery in Cameron. He's the BEST orthopedic surgeon our family has ever dealt with. What a great doctor..!!!!

Dr. Barnhill did a "roto rooter" job on my right knee in 2017. After the surgery I called his office several times and it was like Fort Knox trying to get through to the doctor. The front desk mishandles the calls and do not get messages through to the doc when needed. In addition, people say they will call you back and they don't. Lastly, physical therapy is an important part of geting well after knee surgery. I asked him if I needed to do PT about one month after my surgery and he said no--just ride a stationary bike a few times a week. This just did not sound correct. I did ride the bike for awhile and at about the 3 month mark I went to PT on my own and they were aghast that I was not there sooner. It took my rehab a lot longer because I came so late. Therefore, I can not in good faith recommend Dr. Barnhill or his inept office staff. There are other great orthopedic surgeons in KC----find one of them.

Dr. Barnhill is an amazing Orthopedic surgeon. He did an amazing job on my knee. He cares alot about his patients,and shows great concern about the recovery of his patients. I will highly recommend him to anybody. Wish we had more doctors like him. Keep up the great work Dr. Barnhill.
