Dr. Barth was my childhood doctor, & then throughout my 20's after college. And then he was my wife & I PCP when she moved to the area, so there was a long standing personal relationship that she & I had established. Though, my wife & I lived forty minutes from his office, and we needed to find a doctor closer to our new home after my son was born. Nine months after giving birth, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. As our trusted advisor, we called Dr. Barth several times, leaving messages for him that we were needing help with navigating a second opinion, that I needed to make an appointment to talk to him. We don't know what happened, he would not return our call, it was as if we didn't matter anymore. After a 30+ year relationship with Dr. Barth, it was as if I didn't matter. It was a terribly scary time for us, and if there was ever a time I need him in my life, he was giving me the cold shoulder. I guess he didn't really care. That was a disappointing truth to uncover.

Dr. Barth is one of the most caring kind understandy Doctor I have Ever had. His beside manor is unbelievable!!! He takes time to listen and tries to understand all that is affecting your quality of life. The best. Never cuts you off listens with a sincere and caring heart to me there is no there doctor I have ever had that has just a small part of his big heart and compassion. I sure miss him there will never ever be such a kinder understanding person as him. Truly never will find another Dr. John Barth in my life time.and all the people that feel the very same way.you are truly one of the kindest Doctors I've ever encountered. Thank you Doctor Barth. You are soooo truly missed I wish you could come back but I know there is a time for everything. Good luck in all you do because you are more than deserving. Thank you for your service. Truly missed.❤️Along time patient.

Dr. Barth really cares about you as his patient. Love this doctor. I completely trust him and his advice he gives me. Highly recommend. Kathy Jennings

Out of the many doctors who were seeing my loved one for Congestive Heart Failure, Dr. Barth is the first and only doctor to compare blood work before and after an episode and make some recommendations including dropping several medications. One of those medications is Black Listed for anyone suffering from CHF and should have been stopped immediately. No one else caught it for weeks. My loved one was feeling awful and getting worse but thanks to Dr. Barth, he bounced back and is doing much better. I feel like it may have saved his life. THAT is the kind of doctor I've been looking for so now I've switched my entire family to Dr. Barth.

Been my doctor since 1979 while I have lived in Missouri. I am out of state right now but may be heading back soon and plan on rejoining his patient list. He is a caring doctor and looks as all a person is doing etc before he prescribes meds or other needs. GREAT person.
