List of Shahbaz Khan's Reviews
Very well dressed and easy to talk to but like many psych doctors a little heavy on the medication. I remained inpatient at Cottonwood Springs about 5 weeks longer than I anticipated after I checked myself in voluntarily. He has a great wardrobe though, very well dressed. I wish I could have dressed and put on makeup during my stay as well. Unfortunately I got many clothing items stolen and makeup ...
Dr.Khan is a perceptive and extremely knowledgeable psychiatrist. I trust him wholeheartedly with his precise treatment plans. We are fortunate that he provides care in a small town.
Do not call this so called doctor. I called 6 times and was very specific about the time and day I wanted an appointment. These people do not even return phone calls.
Dr.Khan saved my life. The way he put things into words while I was a patient at Two Rivers changed my outlook on life completely. I went in there suicidal and thinking my husband and children deserved someone better to care for them and the only way to make that happen was for me to not be around anymore on this earth. He said to me "Would you trade your child with ADHD for a perfectly healthy child?" And I of coarse said no. And he said "Do you think they would trade you for a new mom and wife just because you are severely depressed and have anxiety/panic attacks?" His words stabbed me in the heart in the best way possible, and made me realize how sick and mentally unstable I had become. He changed my life and I owe it all to his kind words.
Nightmare of an experience! The lady who answers his phone simply refuses to respond to faxes from my pharmacist or to my own messages (and she has never once answered the phone in person). I am out of medication, I have left three messages during the past two weeks saying that I URGENTLY need to make an appointment and or speak with Dr. Khan, and my pharmacist sent a fax refill request quite some time ago. I have had NO RESPONSE whatsoever, nor has my pharmacist! About two months ago I also suffered from flu-like symptoms for three weeks after being improperly taken off a medication. This doctor's manner of practicing medicine is highly irresponsible. He should find office staff that is capable of relaying messages to him or stop practicing medicine.
This Dr is Great he really care about is patients
Dr. Kahn is a excellant dr. he is great with his patients because he takes time out to listen to you about your troubles, questions, and medication. He not only does that but also does a little therapy too when needed. He is always concerened about ones safety but will not just put you in the hospital. Overall he is the most careing, kind, compassionate and gentle psychiatrist I have ever met and I've seen as many as 6 different ones over a span of 27 yrs.
Dr. Kahn took the time to understand me and see me as a person aside from my diagnosis. He had superior knowledge of the diagnosis and how to help me. I have dissociative identity disorder and had several hospitalizations. Dr. Kahn did not give up but showed care and concern and was eventually able to find the treatment that worked for me.
Scary, poor diagnosis, prescribes inaccurate medication. Will ensure you go to the psych hospital
This doctor is very helpful and cares! very good bedside manner!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
