I am REALLY surprised by these reviews. I have been going to Dr. Compton for a few years now, and he has ALWAYS been wonderful. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. I have never felt like he was rushing to get in and out. He always spends adequate time with me. I have been very happy with the care I receive from Dr. Compton.
I've never been very happy with their speed or attention to detail but changing Doctors is not the easiest of processes but recently, I became motivated to, for many reasons.I've been going to Dr. Christopher Compton and am on a medication I cannot skip & it's been a struggle getting refills, getting medications sent to the right pharmacy & now, after sending multiple messages with plenty of time to get a refill, I'm told the day I run out of my medicine they will have to see me in office.I'm not able to get into the office due to work, for three days and they expect me to go without & suffer withdrawals. The lack of care, respect for one's time, lack of attention to detail, etc., would cause me to finally give my true thoughts as a 1 out of 5 star practice & go elsewhere. Not being affiliated with a larger Hospital seems to let them operate however they please.I should've listened to many friends who said they would not recommend them, but due to them having different Doctors at this location, I figured I'd try. I regret that choice.
I was there with my elderly parent, and Dr. Compton couldn't have cared less about the concerns I shared. He never referred us to someone else who might have helped. I had to do my own research and call back another day to request a referral. We waited 45 minutes to spend 5 minutes with him. His wife, Angie, is not at all like that, maybe because she doesn't have the God complex that is attached to so many MDs. I would definitely recommend her.

Hardly even looked at me when I went in. He was plenty interested in getting me to pay for an x ray though. I don't have very much money so his appointment cost was my savings for a week or two of work(not counting the x ray), which makes it all the more frustrating that he gave so little attention to finding out what might be wrong with me. How are you gonna charge me for looking at me for less than 10 minutes and then refer me to someone else so I can get charged again?? That's his job.... I didnt get the impression that he cared about me at all nor understood how I'm not made of money.
Dr. Compton is always running late on his appointments. Every single visit I have had he has always ran at least an hour behind. Then after waiting for so long he always seems to be in a rush. Spends more time on the computer than he does listening to you. Has not fixed any of my issues. Which is why I am leaving and going to a new Dr.
I think Dr. Compton should work on his people skills. He always seems in a hurry and never tells you what his diagnosies is unless you ask. When you ask questions he seems anoyed. He is a good doctor as long as you dont have a lot of medical issues or ask a lot of questions. He has a great nurse and i love the staff just dont like the doctor.
Dr. Compton is compassionate and always on time. I never have to wait for my appointment. A lot of times I'm in and out within 15-20 minutes without feeling rushed. He lets me discuss things that are concerning me and always seems genuine. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor.
