Dr. Kevin Bartow nicked my husbands spleen during a 24 hour stay surgery at St. Francis in September 2017. Never said he was sorry. My husband almost died. He was in Critical care for a long time and ended up with multiple organ failure. He developed AFIF kidney failure and got a blood clot. I never sued him. Its 4 years later and my husband still is suffering from the doctors mistake. Now I wish I would've sued him. Never once did he come to my husband and admit he messed up.

This doctor nicked my husbands spleen during a 24 hour stay operation. My husband almost died. He had a hematoma 2 ft by 20 inches on his back where he hemorrhaged. My husband went into multi organ failure, got a blood clot, and had A-Fib from this nick. We were NEVER given an apology. I never sued but wish now that I had. 4 years later my husband is still suffering from this doctor.

By all accounts I consider myself lucky to have been referred to Kevin Bartow. Everyone who asked who my surgeon was responded by saying he was the best person to address my umbilical hernia. The man was caring and informative. Having someone cut into your very core is scary. The result was positive.

One of the absolute best surgeons and overall doctors I have ever seen in my life. He saved my life and was very hands on with my recovery. He also took extra time to console and explain details to my family. I would recommend him to anyone and would feel confident in his abilities. He cares about his patients and it shows! Thanks to him I have a new lease on life.

I have been battling multiple health problems and I was in and out hospital. My best friend who is nurse at southeast hospital told me to see Dr. Bartow as he is one of the best surgeons she has ever worked with. I met him and instantly he knew that something major was going on. He biopsy me and immediately knew that I was going to need to remove this aggressive cancer. He successfully removed my cancer in the colon and he literally saved my life. I highly recommend him!

He is truly the best! I researched several surgeons in the region, Memphis and stl; he’s had the best reviews and outcomes. I also knew one of his professors in medical school and he said he was the best students he has ever had. He also said he scored in the 99th percent on all of his surgical exams. His bedside manner was exceptional too! I couldn’t be happier with my choice!
