Blew off my symptoms even though I was experiencing them for weeks after being on an antibiotic and PPI, was routinely taking probiotics, and never experienced an upset stomach from antibiotics before. Finally tested me for CDiff after having symptoms about 3 weeks. I never received a call back when I'd call with a question and would always have to call in to check if there was a message for me. He doesn't respond to patients in a timely manner. I've been on Vanco for months with no real game plan or retesting. My medication has been messed up twice by them and when I last called to inquire about my severe symptoms and the medication dosing not seeming correct due to the # of extra EXPENSIVE pills I had to purchase and wouldn't even be using, they told me that I MIGHT hear back in A WEEK! They clearly don't care about their patients.

First appointment, he diagnosed me with IBS based on sharing my symptoms. I was given strict diet instructions to ease my digestive issues. Second visit, my symptoms had worsened and he had no answers for me except to smirk, shake his head and say "all my patients have the same problems. It's normal." It ended up being my family doc that got me on a prescription to ease my symptoms. Finally seeing a new gastro doc. My first visit, new doc ordered a scope to investigate my issues. Also, strong suggestion that it is NOT IBS. Recently found out a close friend used Timothy Edwards as well. Was diagnosed with IBS when she really had ulcerative colitis. Beware.

I loved this practice when Dr. Lisette Machin was my provider but I guess she left and I was left to see Dr. Edwards. He has no care or concern for patients with endometriosis. Three times I went after having had a diagnostic laparoscopy in Wilmington and all three times he asked "have we talked about endometriosis?" He put me on very high amounts of hormones and simply said that is how we treat this disease. Even the other providers in the practice would say the amounts were too high but they didn't want to contradict Dr. Edwards. Any time I tried to see any other provider at the same practice it was "well, if Dr. Edwards said.." No concern that I was still in pain and probably need another laparoscopy cut out any new growth. Unacceptable.

Dr. Timothy Edwards was referred to me by my primary care provider. He saw me quickly and arranged for an investigative procedure with a weeks time. I could not be happier with his professionalism, his manner or his expertise. He was spot on in his assessment and worked hard to set me at ease. I highly recommend his services to you.

Women’s Health Care Associates is great I never had any issues and the staff is always nice and courteous.

The whoel set up was crazy. It wasn't professional in there AT ALL. The staff wasn't what I'm used to coming from Jacksonville, Fl. But I must admit that they were more professional than Timothy... Or Mr. Edwards. Timmy truly does NOT like his job. This is my first and very last visit to his office. He gave me an exam and ended with "I don't see anything". Weird, because he used his hand to "see". Then he wrote down something and said "that's it!" .. .That was my visit after going to the hospital for severe bleeding and cramps. NEVER again.

I have been a patient since 1989 and I absolutely love the staff! Dr Edwards has always been very professional but he has a very good bedside manner that puts you at ease. He has always talked with me at length following each exam and has made me feel like my health was very important to him. It's so nice to have a doctor that knows me and not just me as a number!
