Luke Douglas Pyron's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient for nearly 20 years and was dismissed yesterday due to cancelling appointments. I am 72-years old and suffering from depression. I explained to staff that current medication was not working and it has been difficult to leave the house. Apparently Dr. Pyron knows nothing about depression/anxiety and shouldn't be treating patients for it. I hate to start with a new doctor at my age but Dr. Pyron left me no choice. Buyer Beware!!!!!

I’ve had Dr Pyron treat when he worked the Freeman west Emergency Room he was great .. would like to have him for a primary Dr.

Been our family dr for a few years now.. And now our grandbaby dr.. Nice and friendly staff ..

I called because a member of my household tested positive for covid and I wanted to be tested. I am high risk cancer x2 heart attack and other health concerns that make me high risk. Dr pyron initally refused to order a test when the nurse called. I said ask again so get a call back on you can have the test but you have to pay out of pocket not use your insurance. That's WRONG!!! His nurse was a unprofessional obstruction to my getting care.

This Doctor is my favorite doctor that I have seen and I have been to a lot of doctors! He doesn’t overbook, he takes his time, he is VERY smart and has got incredible bedside manner. I’ve also met his wife and she is just a button as well. I am keeping this doctor as my primary as long as he is practicing in my area!

Dr Pyron is a very knowledgeable man. He answers all questions I have very thoroughly. I have extreme anxiety and he makes me feel comfortable and relaxed at my appointments. He is kind, caring, and compassionate. He takes the time to listen to your problems and concerns and addresses each of them. Its very rare to find a doctor these days that doesnt just want to rush you in and out. And Dr Pyron takes the time to let you know you are important to him as a patient. After todays appt I came home and told my mom she needs to start going to him bc her doctor is the kind I was talking about where you are just a number to him. She is making Dr Pyron her primary care physician tomorrow!!! Wait times are quick and the appointments are as thorough as you need them to be!!!

I found him stand-offish. He "listened" to me then said he would see me in 3 months. If you don't have any concerns you feel need to be addressed I guess he is alright.

Totally ignored me when I told him about a problem I was having. In the years that I whent to him he never orders bloodwork for me even though I take meds that require bloodworkk every 6 months. He is almost always in a hurry.
