David Edward Urbanek's Online Review Report Card

I started a long process with Dr. Urbanek two years ago involving multiple surgeries. Is his office cheap? Not even a little bit. BUT I have 100% confidence in his treatment plan. He is thorough, answers as many questions as I can throw at him, gracefully handles my MAJOR dental anxiety without judgement, and his staff are amazing. If you’re looking for budget work done quickly, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for someone who does not cut corners (and who wants that with your health?), is up front with payments and treatment plan, and just generally makes a painful and anxiety-inducing situation easier than I highly recommend. His surgical skills and expertise on cutting edge practices are exemplary. 10/10

Dr Urbanek performed tooth extraction in June. I developed swelling and pain a few months later at the site where tooth was pulled, I made an appointment and explained to him I thought this was related to the extraction. He examined me for a few minutes at most and said the growth was not related to the extraction and referred me to a head and neck surgeon> I was advised they would determine necessary treatment for a benign or malignant growth. Almost immediately the surgeon said this was related to the extraction and almost certainly was an infection at the site. This was further confirmed after a CT scan and an attempted aspiration of fluid, I was subsequently prescribed a strong antibiotic for the infection. Dr Urbanek showed no interest in addressing the infection. I was led to believe I had a lesion or growth that required surgical evaluation and attention. The anxiety and excess medical treatment were a direct result of Dr. Urbanek's laziness, poor judgement or incompetence.

Dr. Urbanek was outstanding! He did an amazing job with my surgery. I had very little pain, swelling and no bruising. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience with Mandibular Tori removal! I was very nervous and Dr. Urbanek was supportive and even delayed starting anesthesia until I felt more comfortable. My results with this surgery couldn’t have been better. Dr. Urbanek is very knowledgeable and answers questions with patience and honesty. I inquired about a second surgery and he was honest about my need to explore other options first. Office staff are very skilled and welcoming. I highly recommend this doctor and office.

Great Doctor-I had a catastrophic accident and he did an amazing job. I am happy to have a great smile again. I was able to get scheduled through social media as that was all I had outside of the country. They were quick to respond and get me in when I returned to the states. Highly recommend him.

Our experience with Dr. Urbanek was excellent. He completely explained the procedure (wisdom teeth extraction) and addressed all concerns my child had. I would highly recommend.

Dr Urbanek has removed wisdom teeth for three of my children. Each experience was exactly what you would want as a parent... straightforward, efficient, and predictable. Dr. Urbanek has been great for each surgery, and I would recommend him to anyone needing extraction.

Dr. Urbanek was very professional, prompt. I met him for a consultation at the St. Anthony's location and since I had a minor procedure his office staff tried to arrange with my insurance to have it done that day. The insurance office was closed, but I was easily able to schedule for another date at the Chesterfield location. Both offices were comfortable and welcoming. The St. Anthony's staff went above and beyond due to some other circumstances. No problems, good experience. Thank you.

I recently had a molar removed and an implant placed by Dr. Urbanek . Having gone through this process with another party previously, I had something to judge this experience against. The word I'd use to describe the process is 'smooth'. The finances were made clear before the work, which reduces the subsequent stress often attributed to surprise dental bills. The facility was excellent and staff was marvelous. And I was truly amazed with Dr. Urbanek's expertise and professionalism.

Dr. Urbanek removed my wisdom teeth. He was caring and very professional. He even personally called after the surgery to check in on me. I would highly recommend him!!
