Dr. James Donnelly's Online Review Report Card

Wouldn’t let me complete a sentence. Been seeing dermatologist for 20 years and never had a doctor just flat out tell me I wouldn’t die from psoriasis , in which I’m covered at the moment. Wouldn’t treat me. 30 min late for the appointment. Told me I would have to deal with the discomfort because he couldn’t prescribe my medication because he doesn’t follow it 🤷🏻‍♀️ And wouldn’t recommend anyone who did?

Waited a month for someone to spend 5 minutes with me and look at it. I’ve been looking at it for 9+ months. I was told he didn’t want to do any scrapings or a biopsy because scaring. He made no attempt to figure out what it was, just made his best educated guess off 5 minutes and a quick look. If it turns out to be cancer, can I sue for misdiagnosis?

I saw Dr Donnelly in Feb 2022 for an annual skin check. He started by telling me I don't need to do this annually and then barely looked at my skin. I won't be going back to him.

I used to love this place. Dr Donelley has been a favorite doctor of mine for quite a while. I’ve been a patient for 4+ years. Until this week. As usual my husband and I had our appointments scheduled together and arrived 20+ min prior to our appointment time. Our (Mine or his) was a 10:30 am appointment. Unfortunately we hadn’t been called for our appointment by the time we had to leave to make another appointment, 10:45. We weren’t told the doctor was running late. Others, that arrived later than us were called back all the while leaving us past our appointment time sitting in the waiting room. Unfortunate to say the very least. A good doctor, seemed undermined by a lackluster staff.

I was concerned after reading past reviews, but I was impressed with the office and the doctors response to my needs.

I have never reviewed anyone before but I just have to warn people to not visit Dr. Donnelly. He’s awful. He talks over you, doesn’t listen, barely looks at you and is rude. I told him I was in pain from a cyst and he literally told me to live with it. I cannot stress enough that you should not see this dermatologist.

I’ve never written a review but this one feels necessary. I have never had a worse experience with a healthcare professional. I left Dr. Donnelly’s office in tears feeling like all my concerns were dismissed and stupid. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

Absolutely no bedside manor. I was scheduled for a full body review and was told that I wasn’t when I got there. An awful experience.

This doctor was basically pushing me back out the door as he entered. I came for a thorough screening and he barely looked at me and failed to observe and check much of my body. Weeks after my appointment I had a good friend pass away due to melanoma that started on his scalp. This doctor didn't even look at my scalp!! I honestly don't know what I paid him for. I would NOT suggest anyone waste their time and money seeing this man. His mission seemed to be how many patients he could push forth through the day for his coffers. I am more than disappointed!!!

I agree with the assessment that Dr. Donnelly has no bedside manner.
