List of Gerald Thomas Lionelli's Reviews
After a consultation remenbered a question forgat to ask. This was important to my care and decision to what to do next. after calling office to speak to Dr.Lionelli was told he was to busy. ASked to leave message to call when he had a chance. The assistant was very abrupt. after a couple of days passed and no call called again. Was again told that he is very busy and wasn't sure when he would call. Told assistant it would not take longer than a few minutes. Again more days passed without a call. Finally for the last time called the office. Was told by the very unhelpful assistant that I should make an appointment. This so they can get another fee. So he had time for an appointment but not to make a 3 minute phone call. A example of both greed and no real interest in the patient. Recived the help from other doctors who required no payment
Dr Lionelli was kind and compassionate to my situation. I highly recommend him!
I highly recommend him and his staff, they went above and beyond to make sure I was at ease and comfortable.
Very diligent, skilled, and caring physician. Highly recommend.
In October 2015, I was stupidly trying to seperate frozen hamburger patties with a steak knife. As you can imagine, this did not go over well for me. I slipped and cut into my left pointer finger pretty deeply. I went to the emergency room over at St. Luke's, and Dr. Lionelli was the emergency hand surgey doctor on call that night. I had cut through my tendon in my finger, and he explained he would have to stitch up the tendon, the skin on my finger, and I would have to go through physical therapy. He was very honest and nice about everything, and I felt very trusting of him to get me stictched up right. I had several follow up appointments with him, and he was honest on my progress each time. He helped me to understand that my finger should be progressing farther than it was with the physical therapy, and if I didn't push through the pain, I would lose some mobility in my finger. His honesty is exactly what I needed to push me to get my finger where it needed to be. I have full mobility in my finger again and a nice battle wound scar to tell others about. I have no doubt that if it weren't for Dr. Lionelli, I wouldn't have full mobility in my finger! I highly recommend him!

I liked and trusted Do Lionelli however his office clerk cancelled my surgery with him without consulting with me. I had met with him in the summer, planned my surgery for Nov since I knew I would be out of town caring for a family member. So bizarre that a clerk wold smugly tell me she cancelled the surgery.
Very nice, was honest about risks and expectations. He made me feel very comfortable during my procedure! So far so good not a lot of bruises and minimal pain! A skilled surgeon makes for a better outcome and recovery.
Dr Lionelli is a wonderful and obvious competent surgeon was my opinion after my office visit with him during the summer. However, his office manager, Amira, cancelled by surgery without consulting with me. When I asked her why I was told, Calm down, I can reschedule. She was rude, smug, cool, and took pleasure in my distress. I like the Doc but I won't be back to his office. When I asked to talk to him she smugly told me that wasn't possible. Your support staff is critical, Doc.
Professional, highly skilled and compassionate care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
