Jacob Buchowski's Online Review Report Card

I can not express how grateful I am to have found this surgeon after I was obliviously on the verge of being paralyzed from the neck down. I couldn’t have been luckier. Shocked to see any 1 star review for him.

Dr. B let me swim (required for my job in the coast guard) he truly saved me life. I’m naming my first baby Dr. B. He is is kind, compassionate, and most of all ~beautiful~ As a theater major and swimmer in the coast guard there is no one else I trust more with my bones or feet Thank you Dr. B - Soylent Green

Very disappointed with Dr. Buchowski and his appointment schedule. For the second time I had a followup appointment with the doctor and waited two and half hours the first time. I left after waiting two hours the second time without seeing Dr. Buchowski. Several other patients in the waiting room related similar stories of wait times exceeding two hours or more to see the doctor. Surely his staff is aware of the long wait times and they need to do something to reduce these ridiculous wait times.

I was told I might not walk again as the result of a fractured sacrum from a prior surgery. Dr. Buchowski successfully repaired that prior surgery and I now walk well. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Buchowski and his staff.

He is compassionate, explains everything, no sugar-coating. Wonderful staff. I will never go anywhere else. My surgical outcome has been wonderful.

Dr Buchowski is my hero. Cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. So down to earth, listens intently and cares about his patients. Would never go anywhere else. Two doctors before him could not help, he did!

I had a microdiscetomy by this doctor in 2011. I never got relief. I have been to several doctors since then who have told me he should have never done the surgery in the first place. I feel like he doesn't care about his patients as long as he's getting paid. When asked questions he was very vague. Not informative at all. I'm in way more pain now than before the surgery and its effected every aspect of my life. Find a new doctor!!! Get 2nd 3rd opinions.

Dr. Buchowski healed my spine when no one else would touch it or give me any hope! He is both kind and sensitive ! I have nothing but wonderful things to say regarding Dr. Buchowski! He gave me my miracle! He and his staff are absolutely the best !

Poor bedside manner, follow up, and the surgery he performed failed. Appts canceled repeatedly by his office, and no specialized treatment following surgery despite difficulties, I felt like a number. After so many appts were canceled for my 6 mth checkup, I went to another dr. My fusion failed and going back for another surgery with a better dr and office.

I had gone to him for over 10yrs controlling my back; finally was time for surgery. I really like him and his staff - they are very honest with what will be after surgery, and what you need to do and not do. You call and either they answer then or call back the next day-that doesn't happen very often with other Drs. I had a fusion from the T11 to the L5 into the ilium.. I am pain free and feeling like it is my back again after 6 months. The recovery is long; but they told me that it would be. I really like the honestly they give you.
