Jacques A. Herzog's Online Review Report Card

This doctor had good reviews. But when I saw him I waited a long time to get in. When I did see him, he seemed impatient, had bloodshot eyes, and seemed to be slurring his words a bit. I just did not feel comfortable here.

He did a wonderful job on my ear repairing a cerebral spinal fluid leak. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr Herzog for many years and he has been there to calm me down when feeling over anxious concerning my hearing. Total trust in his decisions for me and a great office staff!!

Dr. Herzog has one of the worst bedside manners I’ve ever encountered. I waited for months to see a doctor about inner ear issues that cause vertigo and debilitating motion sickness. Dr. Herzog was in the room for 10 minutes maybe. He was short with me, interrupted me constantly, and seemed irritated. He comes off like you’re bothering him for being there and is very dismissive. He made me anxious. How can you diagnose someone if they can’t even finish a full sentence without you interrupting them? It’s unprofessional and disrespectful. He ended up prescribing a medication I probably didn’t even really need and it caused way more problems for me. Complete waste of time and money. I will never go back.

Extremely professional and helpful. Office staff is very friendly and accommodating! Dr. Herzog is a great doctor and I have had several surgeries with him including a brain hernia which he found! He deserves 10 stars!

Don't go to this doctor, I had some hearing in my right ear until he did some surgery that I don't think was required. Now have no hearing at all in my right ear.

Dr. Herzog was the 4th ENT I saw for my herniated brain. None of the other doctors knew what was wrong with me, but Dr. Herzog knew the first time he saw me. He did an excellent job of taking care of my problem with his expertise in surgery and with each visit. He is very matter of fact and knows what he's doing. After almost a year of not knowing what was wrong with me, he took care of me. I appreciate everything Dr. Herzog and his staff did for me before, during and after my surgery. I felt I was in excellent hands and never worried. I highly recommend.

In 2018 i had a glomus tumor in my inner ear that caused me to hear a heart beating sound. I was reluctant to have surgery but was told that it could start pressing up against nerves etc. Long story short, this Doctor did the surgery to remove the glomus tumor and my life hasnt been the same since. i ended up with severe insomnia anxiety and depression after the surgery. i have constant ringing in both my ears now and have been on antidepressant meds since the surgery. he had to go through the skull behind my ear to get the tumor. i had no clue that this would be the outcome, i really thinking about further action into this matter.

I think I am too late to add my comments here for Dr. Herzog since I got my ear surgery done back in 2015. But since then I haven’t felt any difference in my hearing. Besides that the way he was either towards me or possibly towards the majority of his patients was very strange. Strange in the sense, he seemed always in a hurry, had me wait for at least 40 to 60 mins before his visit which never lasted more than 120 seconds without satisfying any of my concerns. He didn’t seem dressed professionally either and I felt like he was mentally disturbed every time I spoke to him besides the fact he always was short and cut you off when you speak. I was stuck because my ENT recommended me to go see him but I wish I could’ve done my due diligence before choosing a doctor for my ear. Please make sure you search up ear doctors “pretty good “ before you make a mistake to go to Dr. Herzog (May be if you chose him as your last resort). I am hoping my personal experience could save only one person’s all the stresses/hustles that I have gone through.

He was arrogant and rude. Was insulting with his tone and accusatory comments. Made me feel belittled and wastful of his time.
