List of John O. Krause's Reviews
Been working Dr. Krause for a while now he is always answering questions and always ready to help going back to surgery next week i know if i need him he is always there to snwser or see what he can do for me
If you would like to be treated like absolute garbage go see this guy. He is about the rudest doctor I’ve ever met in my life. Said the physicians at SLU don’t know what they’re talking about and it’s just an ankle sprain. 3 weeks later I get an MRI and he finally sees the fracture in my foot and also a sprain on the top of it, had me in walking boot 5 days after my injury. All about the insurance company and has zero care for the patient
Dr. Krause is my third orthopedic doctor and the only one who listened to about the details of my knee pain - it was not a typical pain and he has helped my knee improve tremendously!
Please Read: I do not often write reviews due to the fact that people's preference in doctors differ often. But after reading some of the negative reviews about Dr. Krause I wanted to share my experience. I have been to his office for 2 different issues a few years apart and both times felt as if I got EXCELLENT care. He sat down, spoke to me & explained things in detail. Also made sure to ask me if I had any questions. Never once did I feel like he was brushing me off or not taking my concerns seriously as some reviews have stated. I highly recommend him. His office staff is friendly and very helpful as well.
Dr. Krause is rude and unprofessional. He doesn't care about his patients at all. In 3 appointments , I probably saw him a total of 10 minutes combined. He laughed at me when I was trying to talk to him and tried to brush me off so he could leave. He is just a mean person all around. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I just had surgery on my leg, foot, & ankle last Thursday with Dr. Krauss. I had a trimalleoar fracture which was very painful. Dr. Krauss was professional and answered all questions he was asked. I am grateful I was recommended to him and my wife has nothing but good things to say about him too.
His so called review of my ankle surgery at the request of the insurance company got my worker’s compensation benefits cut off and almost prevented me from getting physical therapy and costing me money I didn’t have. He only saw me for 5 minutes and 8 months later I had to go to a comp hearing to restore my benefits.
Dr Krause is Great! I switched to him because I have only heard great things about him. Him and his staff are always available when you need them. He has great bedside manner and always lets you know what is going on. He found a issue in my ankle that most would have overlooked during surgery saving me from another trip into surgery later on. I would recommend Krause John O MD to anyone who wants great work done to them.
Terrible. Not only is he likely getting some kind of kickback from the insurance industry, he also puts his patients at risk by refusing to wear a mask. Staff barely wears them either. Absolutely pathetic, unprofessional, and flat-out dangerous.
Not a nice person hurt at work and this man thinks losing everything is alright works for big insurance

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
