My husband was his patient for 17 years. He was very caring and always took the time to explain everything so we understood what was going on. Unfortunately for us but good for him he retired in August 2021. Our next cardiologist couldn't compare to him. We miss Dr Mezei so much.

I knew Dr. Mezei from working at St. John’s Mercy back in the 1990’s. Dr. Mezei later moved his practice to St. Luke’s. I needed a cardiologist in 2012 and chose Dr. Mezei. He closed his practice this year and will be sorely missed. He was everything you hoped and needed in a physician. He was smart, articulate, instructive, supportive, caring, protective. Prefect. Thank you Dr. Mezei for the wonderful care you gave me and others. You will be missed.

Dr Mezei is a very caring cardiologist and spends time with you to explain tests, diagnosis and treatment. I find him to be an amazing doctor and so glad that my primary doctor recommended him to me. Dr Mezei will make you feel like you are his only patient. Another plus is that the staff is also incredible...very kind and caring! My heart is in great hands!!!

I would recommend Dr. Mezei without any reservations. He is courteous, but he is thorough in his discussion of his course of treatment. I fully believe that through Dr. Mezei's competent and insightful knowledge, he diagnosed my medical condition and through his course of treatment, I avoided further serious medical issues.
