January 2023. My experience with Dr. Gira and his staff was wonderful. No complaints, didn't realize what I was missing until the cataracts were removed. If you have any doubts, don't. It seems as though they have an assembly line going, but I never felt as though I had anything to worry about. After you get the first one done, you can't wait to have the second one taken care of as quickly as possible. Some of the check-in staff could be a little more pleasant, but overall, wonderful experience.

Very nice and l knowledgeable receptionist and technicians (Andy). Michelle was very informative about the glaucoma surgery options, and Jenny was great at reviewing our chosen procedurre, cost and payment options. I liked Dr. Gira but my surgery isn’t scheduled till Oct. 19th and Nov. 2nd, so I won’t have first-hand knowledge until then. I do know he was highly recommended.

Generally pleasant. Staff well organized, professional, capable. The doctor had virtually all the information he needed before walking into the room. He did not introduce himself. While pleasant was not personable. Staff did more explaining and answered more questions than the doctor who could have been more forthcoming and communicative. In the end it seemed more like going through a (very capable) production line.

Dr Gira is more like an old friend than a Dr. What a kind, compassionate, great person. Only surpassed by his expertise in his field. They broke the mold when they made Joe. What an exemplary Pysician.
