Anjani Janak Urban's Online Review Report Card

I would not recommend this office, I called to make an appointment at 10am on a Friday I was told they had no appointments to check for strep throat, and advised I instead go to urgent care. There is no point in having a primary care physician if you can’t get into see them when you need it. I will be finding a new doctor. This is the second time Dr. Urban and her office have let me down.

Beware: In April I called Mercy Clinic Family Medicine - Legends Parkway to make appointments for my three children. I was told it would take months to get in, but I was OK with that. My youngest was seen on August 11. My other two were scheduled to be seen on August 17th. We showed up at the appointment only to be told that Dr. Urban was away for a family emergency. We were rescheduled for September 13th. On September 12th, we received a call that our appointments had to be rescheduled because Dr. Urban is out on a family emergency. I asked about it since this is the second time that excuse was given, and the receptionist said that Dr. Urban had not returned from her family emergency a month ago. She told me that the next available appointment is in November. I asked her to schedule us with a different doctor sooner in the Mercy system within ten miles, but she had no suggestions and was unable to offer me an appointment in their system. I don't understand why as I have not been rude or impatient to my knowledge. As a small business owner, I have learned something about customer service, and this is not it!

I love Dr. Urban, she's wonderful & really takes the time to listen to your issues. She was very helpful to me when I was diagnosed with COVID and had medication sent immediately for me and she touched base twice to make sure I was doing ok. I love the office staff as well.

After today I will never go back I have had several problems with them and today I sat there for a hour. Then I ask when they were going to see my they told me the dr was not there. I am done.....

I love Dr Anjani Urban MD she has literally discovered and helped diagnose my heart conditions such as Afib/Long QT just by paying close attention to my medical needs and referred me too the correct cardiologists. She actually listens to all my needs has and excellent bedside manner and I wouldn't trust any other Dr with my Healthcare needs. She is the best she also sees my kids and they love her too. I was recently hospitalized and didn't know she knew I was even in there but as soon as I was released she already had me prescheduled for a video appointment to see her for a follow up the next day. She is amazing.

Dr. Urban is one of the only providers I have had that actually listens! I am soo thankful for her kindness and her medical knowledge. Also if you are looking for a provider that values holistic methods, she is very open to providing patients will atternatives they are comfortable with.

Getting medication refills on time is literally like pulling teeth from a rabid raccoon covered in motor oil with 6 extra hands. I dread having to get refills on scripts every month because it’s such an exhausting and frustrating ordeal. The excuses I’m given are “well Dr. Urban is really busy and she’s trying her best” or “she’ll get to it when she can.” My husband runs out of his meds almost every single month and then has to go without meds for days at a time until someone can get Dr. Urban to sign a script. Guess I’m grateful it’s not life saving insulin or heart medication because then I’d have a dead husband. Every time I call I’m treated by everyone (except one receptionist) like I’m the one inconveniencing them. I’m so beyond done with this office. Dr. Urban cannot adequately care for the patients she has. She needs to give the patients she cannot care for referrals to new primary care physicians and step back. But instead she doesn’t do anything about it and makes my husband’s life unnecessarily difficult which is infuriating. It’s beyond ridiculous; it’s wrong. If you need your medication refills done on time and reliably every month, pick any other doctor.

We Love Dr. Urban! She takes all the time to listen and answer your questions. She has a great bedside manner. She is great with both our kids and us as adults. My husband has never had a female physician but i urged him to just try her as i liked the idea of our family going all to one DR. Well he came home after his first visit and said he liked her and would keep seeing her. I was happily surprised but then thought why should i be she is GREAT. I highly recommend her to everyone.

Excellent care, detailed and always takes the time needed to review and address all questions and concerns. I have going to her for several years and has always been great. Straight forward, professional and caring.

Dr Urban is the most caring & best Dr in St Louis,Missouri. A Dr like Dr Urban is hard to find ! She is caring & takes the time to listen to me & goes out of her way to help her patients feel better . She & her staff do their job well . I thank God for a amazing caring Dr like Dr Urban
