Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

After a fall in June and a broken right wrist, A bummer since I am right hand dominant, and my job is 90% computer work. I need my hands. Even then I thought I would heal quickly and planned to be back to my normal routine within a few weeks. Unfortunately, two weeks later I was faced with surgery, two plates, 14 screws, and repair to a pinky tendon. No biggie, or so I thought. I really had no idea what was ahead in this recovery journey. My doctor was quick to schedule physical therapy and three days after surgery, I was referred to Athletico/Fenton and I was assured I would receive quality care, yet I still didn't understand the full scope of what was to become of my recovery journey. The first few weeks I found I had to come to terms with not being able to do even small movements and the inability to move those silver balls in the palm of my hand brought me to tears. Within a few weeks I began to trust the therapy path of my therapist, Shelia M. Tenny, OTR/L, CHT. Shelia not only provided therapy, but she reassured me time and time again that I would regain strength and mobility when I felt hopelessly lost in this new world of hand physical therapy. Now 143 days after my accident, and with the guidance of my therapist, I am back to my normal routine. I had my own little celebration and can't really explain how ecstatic I was to realize how very grateful I am to return to my normal work routine, but also grateful for the smaller wins like making a fist, turning a door knob, opening a water bottle, and so on. Thank you Sheila. Thank you Jeff, Allie, Marissa, Adam and many others at Athletico Fenton for your quality care and compassion on my journey. If I could give more than a 5 Star Review I would. What you do matters!

Have used the Athletico team for a couple of years for rehabilitation on my neck and shoulder issues. Love the service and staff. Thank you for excellent care! Exceeded all my expectations!!

Jeremy has been treating my daughter after her ACL surgery. He is absolutely amazing with her. He is open and honest and always answers her many questions. He never seems rushed and takes his time with her. I would recommend him 100%.

My Physical Therapist Stacey is the best. I have worked with her on several occasions and she has always given me sound advise even after my visits have been completed. I cannot think of reason to go to any other physical therapy facility than Athletico.

Finished up my last hip PT for the year last night. If anyone needs PT, I highly recommend Lauren at Athletico in Fenton. She’s very knowledgeable, keeps you on track and is encouraging to those of us who tend to have pity parties brought about by self-expectations… 🤦🏼‍♀️. She’s amazing. I will be going back in January but only because my scar tissue is still an issue. Although not fun, she performs Astym therapy on my leg, hip and scar and it is improving.

Athletico is fabulous! I’ve been here for multiple injuries and I have never had a bad experience! Jeremy is super helpful and made my surgery recovery a breeze!
