Wendi Carns's Online Review Report Card

I was surprised by how much I liked her. I am not a fan of going to the doctor. Especially not the annual stuff. She was kind, informed and has a great beside manor. She truly is passionate about her job. The below review absolutely boggles my mind. I've referred 3 people to Dr. Carns already.

Dr. Carns brushed off many of my concerns despite there being evidence to support them, and basically medically gaslit me and told me that what I KNEW what happening wasn’t because she couldn’t see it. She rushed me and was terrible with communication. She had very little patience for the questions I had, her desk lady was rude, and she didn’t 100% inform me on what she was going to do for my IUD insertion. Not good, changed doctors because of her.

I have seeing her since my fist prenatal appointment I love her she talks to me about my results she laughs with me and my husband I know I’m in good hands I feel very comfortable with her ??

Wonderful Doctor, I had her as a Dr when she worked in Cape as well. She saved my daughters life twice and mine as well. I can’t believe I’m reading all these negative complaints. She’s always been compassionate, that’s the number one thing I would describe her as. Not many Dr’s will even attempt to do a Emergency cerclage at 20 weeks, when your almost dilated to a 4, she did successfully! I remember another time I had to be hospitalized in L&D, one of the nurses who was in the OR that day, had mentioned she had been in surgery, and how determined she was to make it successful. I will forever be thankful for her.

Worst dr I have ever been to. She acted like I was a burden and being dramatic. And she lied to my face after my ultrasound for cysts because she didn't even look at it. Then prescribed me a birth control that makes my symptoms worse. She didn't listen to a word I said and didn't take my health history in to consideration.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. She didn't even care to talk to me about my problems, disregarded my health history, and made me feel like I was being dramatic. She tried to blame my weight gain, bloating, and other issues on being depressed, when I'm not, and lied to my face after an ultrasound. She was basing my blood test results off her memory from a month ago and didn't even have them with her to go over them with me. She then told me my weight gain was all due to a uti.

Dr. Carns was friendly during our first visit. Ultimately, her listening skills were not great and the lack of communication by her nurse Lauren was frustrating to the point that I found another doctor. Dr. Carns did not talk to me about the labs that she ordered rather told me that she was ordering labs. Lastly, after advising her nurse, Lauren that I was no longer interested in being a patient I was not contacted about my results. Fortunately, I have a great male PCP who gave me those results

I didn't see her on my visit as she was out. My first appointment was rescheduled to be with the NP as Dr. Carns was going to be out. Then my 2nd appt was rescheduled due to the NP being ill. I understand that things come up and can't be helped but twice. Then it took a month to get pap results & no communication from office at all. Took another almost 2 wks to get ultrasound results and then no response from dr to my concerns. This office doesn't run a good practice or communicate well.
