Thanks to Dr. Gunapooti, I am out of bed, off the couch and having a HAPPIER life, because he is my Doctor. Pain is no joke and takes away life's simple pleasures, like shopping, eating out , visiting our grandkids and kids. He has tremendously changed my life. Been a patient for 7 years he listens

For a doctor that specializes in pain management this doctor doesn’t have a broad variety of meds to help everyone. Unfortunately my previous pain doctor retired. I had been on the same medication therapy for post cancer pain, psoriatic arthritis and a few other diseases for about 15 years. Dr Gunapooti just ignored me and the past medical records. He started me on the smallest dose anyone can give. Needless to say I have lost any quality of life I had.

Dr Gunapooti is a great doctor. 3rd visit for me. He just doesn't hand out pain pills unless you need them. SO IF THAT WHAT YOU WANT MOVE DOWN THE ROAD. had injection today was better than thought. Mine and his goal is to get off pain pills. All his staff are very nice to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr Mahendra Gunapooti since 2007 & Dr Gunapooti and his staff are the best. Dr Gunapooti is very knowledgeable when it comes to the best approach in dealing with chronic pain. He looks at each patient & comes up with the best plan of care for each individual, and not a 1 approach fits everyone. Most of all he's very personable. He takes the time to get to know his patients and he listen to them. I would recommend Dr Gunapooti to anyone in need of a Pain Management Doctor.

Been to many pain clinics and had many injections over the years BUT Dr Gunapooti is one of the few if not the best that i have been to that is gentle takes his time and gives the injections with little to no pain at all. he does a great job at actually getting the injections in the correct spot to relieve as much pain as possible. He is very accurate and confident in his procedures. as much pain as im in normally walking in the office its always a pleasant peaceful environment with great personable staff throughout the clinic. I highly recommend Dr Gunapooti and trust his decisions in giving me the best care he can.

Fast service especially since Dr Patel (Mrs) is there to do the follow up appointments. Dr. Gunapooti is caring and great with my injections. EDIT: Yesterday I came for my back injection and the waiting room was packed. I asked if the doctor was behind and was told "yes", I rescheduled. I don't like the fact that patients are scheduled so close together. The doctor needs to give at least 1 1/2 hours for a patient when scheduling injections and not go back and forth doing follow ups too. EDIT: 11/2021 There are some new staff members in the office that are very rude and dismissing and they do NOT relay your messages to Dr. Gunapooti. Also, I am very happy with Casey, the new P.A. now that MOST of my refill appointments I haven't seen/spoken with Dr. Patel in quite a while. Last time I was in office for a refill explaining my excruciating, debilitating pain to Casey she could SEE the amount of pain I am in on a daily basis and increased my dosage for my pain meds. Also she pointed out a better position to receive my neck Injections and it worked really well. Next appointment is for back Injections and hopefully these will go well also. The only thing is I wish the relief from these Injections would last 4 weeks AT LEAST since they are scheduled in intervals and 6 weeks apart.

Dr. Gunapooti has been treating me for chronic pain that intensified after an undiagnosed tumor in my lumbar spine for many years. Once I could afford expensive imaging when other testing didn't explain the pain, he was thorough and helped me find the answer. After lumbar and cervical spine surgeries he has been with me through it all working with primary care treating the pain and listening to my genuine concerns through the years. It is my opinion that this physician offers care that is proven to work for each individual case. His staff is caring and friendly.
