I have been going to Dr. Wiedner for 30 years. Have followed him through four office locations. Never have I been disappointed with him or his staff.
DO NOT SEE HIM I only had to see this doctor because the female doctor I had been seeing at his office left. He never returns you phone calls for lab results and I called 3 times and physically went up to his office. Nothing. I’ve waited 40+ mins to be seen. He is not interested in your health!! He only wants to prescribe you medication to make money. I have adrenal gland insufficiency and he wanted to put me on antidepressants! My cholesterol is barely 200 and he tried to put me on Lipitor and I’m 27! I refused to get nude (when I got all that checked a week prior at obgyn) for a physical and he got angry, stormed out, took another patient, revoked the physical so my insurance wouldn’t cover any of the labs, and when I was checking out he asked his front desk lady to speak with him AND HE LOUDLY MOCKED ME, BOTH LAUGHED, and she came back to take my money... Do yourself a favor and don’t see him.
Couldn’t have had a worse experience. You’re better off treating yourself, or waiting for an opening somewhere else. The worst. This guy should pick a different job. Like a cargo train operator. Anything that doesn’t involve other humans. Incredibly unprofessional, insisted my exam had to be NUDE in order for my visit to be covered by insurance, rude, lack of interest in helping me was astounding, never returns my calls to hear about my lab work, wait times were forever, prescribes / pushes medication when it’s not necessary, took front desk gal aside and mocked me/ laughed then came back to finish checkout.. (be quieter next time, dingus) Comical, really. Complete $h;t show.

Have only been going to them for a while the nurse practitioner says one thing and Dr. Wiedner says another thing. Was just in the office in February it is now May 5th and I have to come in again to get a prescription filled. Nurse practitioner and I have been speaking about my specialist that I see on her request will do my blood work every 3 months and I will report back on my results now he is refusing to refill a prescription and wants me to come back in again wants to get paid again. I suggest you all find another doctor fast or they will bleed you dry of money too. To top it off asked for my records back that I supplied them they now want to charge me for these like I said they must need money. Will be finding another office
For many years, I go to Dr. Wiedner for my annual checkup and occasionally when I am sick during the year. Ive never had a problem with scheduling, getting my tests results, getting questions answered, etc. Dr. Wiedner and all of his staff are very friendly and accommodating. 5 Stars!
The most caring and compassionate phyoi have ever known. He saved my life. I highly recommend him and his staff.
We call and leave a message and rarely get a call back. The last time we called for the doctor it was a week before we got them to do anything and by then it was to late. The staff can be rude and make you feel like we are putting them out. We have had a couple different companies we are working with and we hear the same thing from them, rude and feel like they are putting them out. I have let the doctor know how we felt but it did not help.
I have been happy with both doctors. What I am very unhappy about is getting refills approved. If this had been the first time I would probably let this pass, but, it has been more than once I have called in days ahead of time without calling me if there is a problem or calling the pharmacy. This happened to be for pain medication, which, needs a doctors approval. I called five days ahead of time. The pharmacy said they received word on Friday someone had to call it in. I waited until late afternoon on Monday, and, still with two doctors, no one called it in. So, I guess you might try calling refills in two weeks ahead of time!
Usually a good experience.
Absolutely awful experience. I moved to the area recently and went there to establish a new primary. I happen to have blood tests taken for a cholesterol check. The nurse had just recently quit so Dr. Wiedner tried to take the blood himself. He had to prick my finger several times and got blood all over the place when attempting to insert the specimen into the cat ridge. I had waited three weeks before having to call the office myself to figure out what the results were. I was told the doctor would call back to discuss. One week later I had to call again to get any answers. Absolutely the worst doctor's office experience I have ever had. I very seriously question the credibility of this place.
Dr. Wiedner was provided by Cigna my insurance company. I thought I scheduled an appointment for a physical. I wanted a male doctor who would better understand male issues. Once in the examination room a nurse informed me that this was a meet the doctor visit?! After waiting 25 minutes to meet the doctor, a 40 something female doctor arrived. The first time I actually walked out on the Wrong doctor. Total Waste of time!!
Dr. John Wiedner is an amazing physician! While pediatrics isnt his specialty, on a Sunday afternoon he was more to happy to see my toddler after she was bitten by a bug. Her face was swollen which as a mother totally freaked me out but her behavior was normal. I still wanted to her to see a doctor but didnt want to spend our day in the ER or an Urgent Care Facility. Dr. Wiedner to the rescue! He recommend childrens Benedryl and lots of love and she is doing great! Hes the best!
Amazing doctor! Saw my little one on a Sunday afternoon after she was bitten by a bug on her face. Dr. W is not a pediatrician but could tell the concern in my voice and came to the rescue. He was very gentle and sweet with her and totally reassured me that everything was going to be just fine! Great work doc!
Good doctor but impossible to speak to anyone on the phone. No calls are returned. Faxes from Pharmacy for RX are ignored so cant be filled. I am reporting him to Medicare.
this office is a joke they cant keep staff they change them every couple months they have a machine that they cant check it takes them weeks to get back to you even if you call every couple days they cant answer you back even if it has to do with your medications if you talk to a doctor ignorant and she refused to refill my husband medication even though they deleted it from their system and hes a patient of dr. Weidner for over 10 years I have dealt with this for years youre just a payche
Best there is. Very caring and knowledgeable.
My 94 year old grandmother is a patient of Dr. Wiedner's. She needed a refill on pain medication that I dropped off at the pharmacy on Saturday. I knew they couldn't get it approved until Monday but I never thought that it would be Friday afternoon when they would finally receive the approval. I called the office multiple times and was always blown off. They don't care that their patients suffer for a WEEK! The pharmacy told me that this doctor was especially slow when it came to refills.
never go there. he and his staff do not know what are they doing. they mislead you.
Great staff and wonderful doctors.
