My long time doctor recently moved and thought Dr Evans would be a good fit for me. I have muscular dystrophy and my long time doctor had helped my quality of life immensely. While I was in the office with dr evans he said he was willing to keep everything the same as it had been with my previous doctor, he refilled my meds and said to call back when I needed refills. When I called back for my refill he REFUSED to refill it and instead of being treated like a human being who fights for her life daily, I was treated like a drug addict. The nurse was very rude and said “why don’t you go back to your previous doctor” whom had moved 8 hours away. Doctor evans knew I had been on the same medications at the same dose for over 8 years with no issues, and instead of weaning me off he just flat out refused to refill it. I would not recommend this doctor, he truly doesn’t care about the patients quality of life.

I find Dr Evans to be very knowledgeable and caring. Every diagnosis that he has made, both for my Mother and me have been spot on. He is also very willing to refer you to a specialist if you need one. He always greets you with a big smile and that makes you feel better about your visit. All in all, I feel very confident in the care decisions that he makes for my Mom and me.

This man misdiagnosed my husband. He prescribed a medication for a condition that my husband did NOT have, which caused a severe reaction. Do not go to this doctor.

Absolutely will not listen to patients at all. Too quick to suggest expensive tests and unneeded imaging that costs a lot of money. Feels more like he can see dollar signs than patients actual medical problems.

He is not who he appears to be. He gets defensive when you try and tell him what you think may be the issue. You may have to seek second opinion after seeing this doctor.
