List of Saulat Mushtaq's Reviews
Dr Mushtaq is not a very good doctor. She was more concerned as to why I was in her office when I could have had a telehealth visit instead??? My lab work wasn’t great, she told me “You tested positive for lupus, but you don’t have lupus-pregnancy & diabetes can cause these numbers”. What? I’m 54 and am not diabetic. Then asked if I’d like literature on Lupus? She was dismissive & told me to see her via telehealth in 6 months. Then she came back in the room to confirm my name!! I called my primary who re-ran tests and ordered others & found I have somewhat significant medical issues that need additional testing & consultation with a specialist! I worry about her patients who don’t know how to advocate for themselves and just take her word.
My experience with this doctor mirrors the other one star ratings that are here so I won't repeat them. The staff at Hannibal Clinic is wonderful. Friendly, professional and compassionate. I wish I could say the same about this doctor but I can't. Frankly, Hannibal Clinic deserves a better Rheumatologist and so do I. My first visit was my last.
Very dissatisfied. Waited 7 months for appt. Then waited 2 hours 20 mins for doc to come into the room. She was not listening to my concern, but rather cut me off. She is rude and I will tell my other doctors how the appt went. I will not ever go back to her. She could be the last Rheumatologists on earth and I would gladly pass. She needs to get down from her high horse. Someone needs to tell her to JUST BE KIND. She dont know what people are going through. If its not in her text book, it won't be addressed. Highly disappointed. She tried to intimidate me but didn't, she only displayed how nasty of a human she is. Disgraceful.
Dr Saulat Mushtaq is the best rheumatologist in Madison County Illinois. She has been my physician for over 3 years. I trust her judgement and I am not afraid to ask her any question that might be on my mind. I know that she listens to me and answers my questions in layman terms. If doctors still did house calls, I would let her come to my house.
Dr. Mashtaq was my dr. After Dr. Bashir moved away. I found her to be rude, no compassion and very condescending. She is very arrogant. She doesn’t answer your questions and when she changed my medicine and I ask why she responded with because “I can” I have since found a Rheumatologist that is all of the things she is not. I left her office more in tears than I didn’t. I will never go back and would never recommend her to anyone.
Unprofessional and rude. I’ll never go back
Dr. Mushtaq was thorough in her questioning and examination. I was impressed that she did not rush into prescribing meds but erred on the side of caution and ordered further tests. She was very knowledgeable and informative.
Wonderful physician! She takes her time to listen, answer questions & overall attentive to my medical needs. I can call/email/text she or her staff will return my call straight away. Couldn’t ask for better physician or staff. Molly Jennings
This doctor was very uncaring, and did not have good bedside manner. She gave me advice that I could have found off the internet and barely did an exam. She was not friendly. Her staff were kind enough. She showed up 45 min late to the exam. I was told by others that she is never on time. I left the office feeling no better off than I did when I left. She told me basically there was nothing she could do for me and criticized me at the same time. She also said she would do tests for me, but then she would not be able to help me in the future, and that if she put me on any medication, it would just make things worse. Then she told me to come back every 3 months. Why? So that she can tell me she still can't help me? One of the most ridiculous doctor appointments I have ever had in my life. I do not recommend her at all.
very thorough and explained more to me than any other Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
