List of Pemiscot Memorial Hospital's Reviews
Saturday my mom was taken to the ER by ambulance. Her IV was put in wrong and all the fluid built up in her arm to the size of a softball. While we were there the night nurses was so rude and yelling at patients to shut up and wait while they sat at the nurses station chatting. When the night nurses came on duty they did not step foot in my moms room for 3.5 hours. The nurse came in the room and discharged and stated nothing was wrong. If I was not in there (which they didn’t want me to be) she would of laid in the bed for 3.5 hours in her feces due to not having a call button for patients. My moms blood pressure was high and they took the cuff off of her and left it in the floor. I put it back on her after I noticed it. Sunday morning I took my mom to NEA hospital where they actually found the issue and treated her. This hospital should be shut down. Patients don’t deserve to be treated like this.
Great job .
Abdul Naushad Is a crook! charged with Insurance fraud! Total jerk! Not much more I can say other than DO NOT GO THERE FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT.
We were traveling back home to Lafayette, IN., when my wife fell at the Pilot Stop on September 13, 2021, around 10:00 PM. The Pilot Manager offered to call us an ambulance. We decided to drive to the hospital ourselves. Upon arriving at the hospital I went inside to ask for assistance due to the fact we thought she may have broken her arm. The two young ladies looked at me and flat out ignored me and continued their conversation. Then the young lady on the left started texting on her phone. I finally said that we needed some help. She said that she would get someone to get us a wheelchair. She DIDN’T call someone for another two minutes. Needless to say that I was passed livid. The young man that came out was nothing short of first class!! He was kind, understanding, and showed us empathy. After he asked my wife a few questions, he sent us to the urgent care center if the hospital. Upon arriving, there was no one at the desk. However, we did hear a lot of laughing and joking in a room down the hall. As I approached the room, a young lady with long dark hair finally came out of the room with a scowl on her face. As she approached us she rudely said, not ask, what do we want. She was so rude, unprofessional, and downright mean. We’ve been treated better at a fast food register attendant or a toll booth attendant. She would not even look at us while we were exchanging paperwork!!!! Then when another lady came in to wheel my wife to another area would not even speak to us. Then we had a nurse named Linda came in. She was the best!!! Linda truly cared about my wife and her condition. Linda ordered X-rays. The X-ray technician came in and she was just as wonderful as the young man that wheeled my wife into the hospital and Linda was. Some of the staff working there definitely need classes on how to treat patients, quit, or be terminated.
Go to a different hospital before you come here! They are very rude, they don’t care about you as they should, and very slow!
Hope everyone that the Easter bunny gave a special egg too yesterday turned it it to HR to get their special grift !!!
My sister just had a traumatic experience there; she was taken by ambulance to the ER thinking she was having a stroke. She suffers from numerous health issues and lives alone. An ER Doctor, Michael Stevenson, mistreated her. He told her she did not need to be admitted, to go home and call her primary Doctor, and to never return unless she “was dying!” He was cold and cruel, sending her into tears. My sister was confused and scared; she had trouble speaking coherently or walking. She had no transportation lined up and did not know how to get home. I will rate Pemiscot Hospital ER a Zero; she was treated without dignity or compassion by a Dr. Stevenson. Perhaps he needs to consider another field of work because as a Doctor, he is severely lacking.
Need to put a sign out by the road that says if you want to die, give us a try
The employees are RUDE. From the front door to the back. The workers in the ER are the worst. You can tell that they’re there for a paycheck and nothing more. They do everything on their time and not a second before. Place you in rooms & do not even speak. Just shut the door. The nurse I had, gave me a shot. But instead of doing it the CORRECT way. She stuck me & rushed the medicine in. Didn’t go slow or easy whatsoever. THEN, told me “alright you can go” (while I’m bleeding) so I politely asked can you hand me something to wipe this off with and I got NO RESPONSE. She absolutely ignored me. I went to get a paper towel & she just stood there in the way. I can honestly say. There are VERY FEW that should remain employed at Pemiscot Memorial. I will not go back to this hospital, even if I’m dying and it’s my only option. They wouldn’t care to help anyways. As a CNA myself, I could NEVER treat someone how this facility does.
Took my son here last night he was hurting in his stomach really bad after ct scan doctor sent him home said it was his viral infection and his lymphoid was swollen and he just needed to go home and poop. But his white blood count was high so I didn’t feel comfortable just going home so we took him to cape. Needless to say a couple hours later he had his appendix removed. POS better be glad I trusted my own instincts and took him to a better hospital. That helped him and actually cared about his well being.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
