I do not recommend this doctor. After being promised to give me 20/20 vision and after $9800.00 my vision is not better in the least. Had cataract surgery in April 2018 and was told that if I spent this money he would "guarantee" me 20/20 vision only to be then told by him after post surgery that at this point I will just have to "live with it" Not to mention his office keeps billing me for post-surgery services that were not performed! Very disappointed and no way would I recommend this Dr.

Dr. Gans did a cornea replacement with a new procedure that he developed. Quick recovery time, less pain. From blind to sight is a life changing thing....

Had concerns immediately after surgery, Dr. Gans kept me coming back, but has never addressed my concern. After one and a half year my vision is still blurred, lights cause problems. This has been a great disappointment!

I would not recommend Dr. Gans. My cataract surgery was rough treatment and very rushed. He carelessly caught my iris in the stitch, my eye/eyelid became inflammed, vision blurred, and 12 weeks later, I had to find another doctor to treat my eye.

Great dealing with his patients. Excellent results. Very patient with all my questions..I had done alot of research in types of lenses to replace my cataracts. He does make you wait up to an hour past your appointment for checkups and prior to surgery.

Had Lasik surgery in 2000, have excellent vision. Recently had cataract removed from both eyes, excellent results. Would not have anyone but, Dr. Gans perform medical procedures on me. Drive more than one hundred miles each way to visit him; you only have one pair of eyes, don't entrust them to anyone but the best!
