Stacy Antoinette Jefferson's Online Review Report Card

First, Dr. Stacy Jefferson is awesome! It’s her office folks that’s the reason for the 1 star rating. Appt. Scheduled several weeks ago for last week 9/19. Reviewed Mercy messaging system as late as last week and appointment is still listed. Went online the night before to get directions and the appointment was still listed. At the office, I’m told that the appointment was canceled and that a voicemail was attempted on 9/7 but my voice mail box was full. That’s not accurate and my phone log doesn’t show a call received on 9/7. There’s an email address and a back up phone number on file. Why didn’t anyone reach me via those methods? How is an attempted call to cancel acceptable? Make it make sense. What a disappointing experience. Please don’t do this to anyone else.

Dr. Jefferson is NOT a good doctor. She was negligent to my medical issues and got angry when I requested labs to be drawn and medications to be adjusted. Very defensive and rude. She asked me not to record our appointment when I had zero intention to (and it would be my right as the patient anyways…). I believe she acted this way because I was taking initiative with my own health. I paid multiple times for appointments just for her to end up making me cry and no services done. In the end, I had an undiagnosed kidney injury and I was suicidal for months mainly due to her lack of care. So, if you want a doctor to take you seriously and not make you feel guilty, DO NOT go to Dr. Jefferson.

Dr Jefferson’s staff was kind and professional. Dr Jefferson did exactly what you want your physician to do. Listen!!! I really appreciated her kindness and patience.

Thank you to Dr. Jefferson and staff for working to resolve my prescription issue! Out of the blue, my insurance denied a medication I take every month. I was leery of trying to get in contact with this office, because of past experience of not being able to get a hold of anyone. But this time, they showed prompt attention to this matter and sent the needed documentation to ensure I was able to get my prescription. Getting quick responses really meant a lot during a very frustrating time. Thanks again!

Dr Jefferson's bedside manner is excellent. At the old location, it was difficult to reach her, as others have stated. Since the new office, she has always responded promptly. She even covered me via a prescription that a specialty doctor's office failed to refill for over 2 weeks. Again, both she, and her nurse, are excellent at what they do.

This is the second time I have had trouble getting in contact with Dr. Jefferson I been with out medication for a week I literally had to come into the office just to talk to someone and they just want to push it off like everything's ok they'll give her the message. Sitting in the office now waiting will give and update to see what the outcome is. Update: I waited 30 minutes for her to send my prescription over never seen her no sorry about the waiting nothing. So I will be looking for a new doctor for my family.

I am very displeased at the level of care that has been given from this provider. I reached out to her office on February 5th in regards to a pain to still not receive a callback from her and it's now March 5th. I have sent multiple messages through the mercy portal to retrieve labs results from blood that was done around February 19th or so to still not have my lab results back. I've even spoken to the office manager Marsha as well as provider relations and a week later absolutely nothing. I will NEVER recommend this office or provider to anyone.

They never call back. I was diagnosed with Covid and they called me back two weeks later...
