My daughter went to have a bladder stint removed after a procedure a week ago. The office has a sign that offers a calming gas for those with anxiety. My daughter was very anxious about her procedure, and said that she wanted the gas. The office told her it was $75. She agreed. When the doctor came in, he said, "Nope, you don't need it." She said, "but you offer it, and I'm willing to pay for it. There's a sign out front and everything." He said, "Nope, I'm too busy today to mess with it." He then proceeded to perform the procedure in a callous and detached manner. During the "care," he said, "Oh, and stop telling people you're allergic to lidocaine. You're not." She said, "I didn't say I was allergic to it. I said I had previously had a reaction to it." He said, "Well, I used it during your procedure with no issues." What kind of doctor dismisses his patients concerns and wishes because he's busy? Or ignores possible interactions with medicines? Answer, apparently David Lewing, MD.

I have gone to Dr Lewing for over 15 years for various urological problems. He has an excellent bedside manner and listens to you and your questions and you never feel rushed . His treatment for my problems has always been excellent and he explains things very well in an easy way for you to understand him. I have referred many of my friends to him and they are just as happy as I have been. Would highly recommend him.
