Khanh Nguyen's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen's for 20 years. He listens to what I have to say and suggests treatments based on what I communicate with him. He cares about his patients and it's obvious when visiting with him. When a test result comes back or an x-ray/MRI, he calls himself to talk to the patient about the results. This is a wonderful doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Nguyen has been my Dr. for 10+ years. He takes his time and listens to me. When needed he orders the appropriate tests and makes excellent referrals.

Dr. Nguyen always fully listens to my concerns/questions every visit. He explains things so that you understand his train of thought and did schedule tests in the event that I simply needed some peace of mind. I am very grateful I found him for my Primary Care Physician.

Dr. Nguyen is easy to be open with he has been a blessing a handful of times & is now my primary care (thank god) - — Attention to detail, I don’t fear going into see him.

I can't believe the 1 star reviewer! What do you expect demanding prescription drugs over the phone? Doubt you even spoke with him over the phone, why not make an appointment. They guy in front of me was a walk in and they said he would have to wait an hour. I got right in.I was having terrible abdominal pains and was very worried. I was able to get an appointment the next day and Dr. Nguyen saw me and ran blood, urine, X-ray all negative. We scheduled a CT scan the following week also negative and the pain had went away but he said I could come back if it returned. Must have been a pulled muscle etc. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and they got me right in. He is now my Primary Care Physician.Thanks Doc!

After the advice of my sister who is a nurse practitioner, I called encompass medical group after hours when my back had been spasming non-stop for about 40 minutes. The pain I was feeling was right up there with when I shattered my leg. About an hour later the doctor on call, khan Nguyen, finally called back. The conversation last about 30 seconds and went like this-Nguyen- this is doctor NguyenMe- (I stated my name and situation and asked if he could prescribe just enough muscle relaxers (like 2-3) to get through the weekend until the office opened.Nguyen- ummm.. no.. I don't.. I don't think I can do that... no I can't do it over the phone.Me- do you know anything else or other options other than ibuprofen.Nguyen- I don't know why you are even talking to me. They should have just sent you to a nurse.Me- can you just give any other ideas.He then hung up on me!!!I want to be clear that I fully respect their rules and guidelines, and If they don't ever call anything in over the phone, even for very minor amounts to temporarily control severe pain, then fine. I would be fine with that. But, to just hang up on someone who is just trying to stop the pain is beyond unprofessional and heartless. I was not begging, I took no for an answer and tried to move the conversation in a helpful direction when he hung up on me.

I switched from another doctor I was seeing in owensboro, because it just seemed like they could care less.. Their name was Bridgewater medical center . total quacks. It took me 30 days to get into one health Breckenridge but it was worth the wait he's a great doctor. Who cares. From what I noticed. I've already recommend him to my dad. GreGreatc . very nice and understandable.
