I prefer the other doctors in the office. I dont think he listens to female patients when we say we have aches or pains. My entire family goes to this medical group. He is fine for men but not women.

Waste of money and time. Never really listened to what I was telling him for my Type II Diabetes. IF I could give no stars I would. Ordered every test in the book, no one did this in the past and it seems total overkill. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

He's outstanding, almost always get same day appointment. He is very thorough, complete and kind. I completely trust him. Staff is awesome as well. He goes above and beyond and has called me after hours with test results. His nurses always call back as well.

Dr.Pourakabar is an excellent caregiver. He has always been readily available if a need should or emergency should arise. He reminds me of one of the few doctors that truly puts his patients before financial gain by giving them the best care possible. I have been with him over 13 years. He is also my mom's, brother, sisters, brother in law, niece and several good friends and coworkers primary physician. He one of the best. I give him five stars!

Horrible doctor, i had him for my PCP and i was on my presurgery diet supervision i supposed to have a monthly follow up with him and he supposed to write down some information related to my diet to be submitted to my insurance and be approved for the surgery. My visits with him was horrible, i tried to talk to him how the visits supposed to be and he said it was not his business, super rude, i paid 4 months of copay and i have to have to redo all the 4 months over again. Do not waste your time

I have had this doctor for 10 years. He has provided excellent care to me and my husband. I have recommended him to several family members and friends. Many have switched their primary doctor over to him. He is a great doctor and person.Qaulities-Makes it easy to understand diagnosis-You leave with an understanding of what you must do-Very straight forward-Treats you like a person-Listens, listens, listen-Friendly

Dr. Pourakbar (Encompass Med) is a very personable, caring, and readily available professional physician. He has been my physician for several years now and is physician to my daughter's also. He helped me/us through the loss of our 22 year old daugther and sister last year. If money were all we needed in life and I could give him more than he earns now, I would. He is priceless! We all love him because he takes excellent care of us. (This rating was also listed by mistake for Dr. Pourakbar of Appleton City,MO)
